| Hiya. I'm working at the hospital again. Tonight is my 4th night back. It's very difficult transitioning from daywalker to nightwalker. I'm back on the 7on/7off schedule, which is what I started on 6 years ago. I basically took an 8 month unpaid leave of absence. Unfortunately, I lost all my accrued seniority and stuff like that. Fortunately, they hired me back at the same level of pay as before. Nothing lost, nothing gained, really. There's something circularly circle-of-life about that. In other news, I took my bike out for a brisk summer jaunt a few weeks back. It was quite exhilarating. |
