I kind of want to throw my cell phone in a lake currently. Here's what just happened:

A couple days ago, I auditioned for sym winds (band). During the audition, my cell phone went off.  That being said:
-My cell phone went off during my audition
-Consequently, I got last chair for flute. Again.
-Therefore, I was upset when I saw this had happened
-Ergo, being upset, I left said cell phone in the music building which is my alarm for my class.

Funny cycle.

I kind of want to throw my cell phone in a  lake.

To post this without a disclaimer of sorts would be completely unfair.

I am posting this because it made me stop folding the shirt that was only half-folded. I started to weep.  I am NOT posting this because it describes my life, or this is how I feel about any situation in my life.  Maybe parts of the poem, but to say that this poem as a whole is a perfect testimony to why I can feel sorry for myself(!)... would be a huge fat unfair lie.

Also!  This poem is from the IndieFeed Performance Poetry podcast. It's by Cristin O'Keefe Aptowicz, of whom I am a HUGE fan.  I highly recommend looking up both of these entities, as I love both of them and I believe they are worthy causes. :)
