hey yall,

it's been a while i know...ok...a few months. but who's gonna read this anyways. in july i got a job. i work with my mom. that's going real well. i've already gotten a raise and a promotion...i'm that cool. ummm...aaron and i are still going out. it will be 7 months tomorrow (awww).

i haven't been on here for half of forever due to my job, church, school, and lack of internet at my house. i don't really know what to post so i guess...since everything is ok, ya'll can ask questions about whatever and i'll try to get back to you before i leave this weekend.

well here's a real update (since apparently the last one wasnt too informative )

i haven't been up to too much. just kinda chillin. church has been good. this last sunday was nice. a lot of the youth were on the mission trip to memphis so there were 3 of us in my sunday school class. i'm glad i got to know cody a little better. he's new.

speaking of the mission trip...keep them in your prayers. nicole text me that it was 96 degrees and it was only gonna get hotter this week. lucky for her: her crew is doing the roofing. and on the way there (right out of the city limits) BOTH of the church vans broke down. apparently the place where they had last gased up had bad gas.

I might be getting a job at pizza hut soon so keep your fingers crossed. with a new job id be able to quit at the speedway and help out with saturday night service again. that would be great.

Life is Good...

Hmmm...let's see here...time for an update.

1) Aaron asked me out...
i'm pretty happy about this. ok...really happy. i can't stop smiling happy. he asked me out the day after prom (which i dont wanna talk about) Saturday i meet his grandma and next week we are doing a double date kinda thing with his rents. it'll be fun...i hope.

2) R.I.P.
Mr. Todd passed away the other night. He was kinda like a grandpa to me. im just mad that a stranger had to get ahold of us...visitation is tomorrow night and the funeral is thursday morning. i knew it was coming but just not yet...:'(

3) Church
Church has been awesome lately. Pastor Terry has been talking about a few VERY practical issues. Sunday we had coronation (i almost cried when terry talked to ashley) and i also got to go to children's church. i missed my kids...it was sooo good to be back. i'm sad that Acteens is over for this year...but it'll be nice to have a break. i'm also doing the powerpoint in first service now. yay! (i think that might be a promotion. haha)

4) School
school has been going good. (with the exception of one class) i think i have all A's and im working on the language arts class. i fell behind in business technology but im caught up. that's always good. i have a big project in housing right now. im designing 3 rooms in a house...there are A LOT of decisions. haha. we have our concert coming up in a little over a week. and bio isnt going so good. we are supposed to be going over evolution but the board doesn't think the community would like that so they keep having meetings to yell at him until they come up with a solution. poor mr. hemmi...i like him. he's a cool teacher and he doesn't deserve this...

5) Life in General
i've been pretty stressed but managed to stay positive. which only makes me happier. its pretty cool. i think that book i was reading really helps. its called The Power of a Positive Teen. it's very insightful. i encourage anyone to read it. maybe even younger adults.

well Kim said it was time for an update. i thought my life was a little boring lately. busy. but boring. except for state bible drill. i got sixth. i was sooooooooooooo excited. and then yesterday i thought i was gonna get fired cuz certain things came up and my drawer was about $300 short. and i didnt do anything. i was so mad. so since thats all im telling yall about im gonna put in some quotes that ive heard lately that are AMAZING! and then a song lyric...kk? sounds good...
