I'm moving to Hong Kong at the end of February to work in the Merrill Lynch office there for a year. Good-bye!

Good news is I can still see. Better news is I get to wear these super cool goggles all day today and every after that for the next two weeks. I feel like Cyclops from X-Men. Haha

The process was actually quite freaky. I could smell the burning of my eye when the laser blasted it and they had my eyes held open with metal clamps and I could see the whole damn process, even when they lifted the cornea and my vision went blurry. Strange what they can do...

Now I feel like I wore my contacts to bed, that same tired and strained feeling in my eyes along with a slight blurriness which is suppose to go away after a bit.

[EDIT] I went for a post operation check up this morning and found that I now have 20/20 vision. My new hobby is looking far and wide to see how far I can read from.

It's been a while since I posted an entry. I'm finally home in California and it feels nice to have good home-cooked meals and a big soft bed. It's weird thinking about the fact that after ONE more semester I won't be able to do this anymore, maybe never except for a few days during the holidays. It's quite sad thinking of what it'll be like once I start working. My soul has been signed away for the next few years, I guess I should enjoy my life while I still have it.

On another note, congrats to Yul for winning Survivor. It's nice seeing an Asian American win something like that and get the exposure that he got. It's also nice that he's a LAMBDA. Cheers to bros everywhere.

So my big winter break project is coming up soon. I made an appointment for Wednesday morning. I will take a good look around everything and everyone that I can before I go in for my LASIK surgery. In case I'm that one in a thousand or whatever that becomes blind, I'll go through all my pictures... for the last time... haha I'm knocking on my wooden bed post right now.
