Better news is I get to wear these super cool goggles all day today and every after that for the next two weeks. I feel like Cyclops from X-Men. Haha

The process was actually quite freaky. I could smell the burning of my eye when the laser blasted it and they had my eyes held open with metal clamps and I could see the whole damn process, even when they lifted the cornea and my vision went blurry. Strange what they can do...

Now I feel like I wore my contacts to bed, that same tired and strained feeling in my eyes along with a slight blurriness which is suppose to go away after a bit.

[EDIT] I went for a post operation check up this morning and found that I now have 20/20 vision. My new hobby is looking far and wide to see how far I can read from.

Tuesday, December 19, 2006

It's been a while since I posted an entry. I'm finally home in California and it feels nice to have good home-cooked meals and a big soft bed. It's weird thinking about the fact that after ONE more semester I won't be able to do this anymore, maybe never except for a few days during the holidays. It's quite sad thinking of what it'll be like once I start working. My soul has been signed away for the next few years, I guess I should enjoy my life while I still have it.

On another note, congrats to Yul for winning Survivor. It's nice seeing an Asian American win something like that and get the exposure that he got. It's also nice that he's a LAMBDA. Cheers to bros everywhere.

So my big winter break project is coming up soon. I made an appointment for Wednesday morning. I will take a good look around everything and everyone that I can before I go in for my LASIK surgery. In case I'm that one in a thousand or whatever that becomes blind, I'll go through all my pictures... for the last time... haha I'm knocking on my wooden bed post right now.

Friday, August 18, 2006

it seems whenever one problem in life finally meets a solution, another issue arises to take its place

Saturday, April 08, 2006

Congratulations to Cornell Lambda Phi Epsilon's nine newest members!
Welcome to the family, you guys earned it.

Cornell Eta Class, Spring 2006
#50 Mark "Space Jam" Iong
#51 Yih "Riptide" Tan
#52 Dan "Bunker" Song
#53 Leonard "Little Mac" Lin
#54 Justin "Hammerhead" Wong
#55 Onik "Overcast" Quddus
#56 Mike "Showtime" Park
#57 Jimmy "Consul" Zhu
#58 Steve "Franchise" Hwang

(roster ripped from manshow's xanga)

Saturday, March 25, 2006

so our double date (me n nick, austin n jay) this past week at Killington, Vermont went wonderfully well. Although there weren't any other spring breakers to chill with, the mountain was pretty empty so there were no lines for the lifts and nobody to crash into on the slopes. We all improved a lot on our boarding. Good food thanks to the hotelie haha the steak was so cheap there. Our many gay adventures have come to an end.. for now.. but we came back with a lot of bruises and good memories. Can't wait to figure out what to do for next spring break. Chilling in the snow was nice and all but watching MTV spring break really made us wish we were in the beach with all the other college ppl.

Monday, March 06, 2006

Had a great time at ECBR this past weekend. Thanks to CMU Lambdas for hosting us. the 12 hour roundtrip drive wasn't so great but at least I got to pick up a shirt at the outlet store on the way back. haha

So while I work this summer I will be staying at the NYU Water Street dorm/apt which I expect to be a blast. If anyone knows good places to eat around there please tell me!

Monday, February 06, 2006

I had a great weekend.

Kathy and I had a great 1 year anniversary with dinner at John Thomas Steakhouse and a stay at La Tourelle.

Love you baby!

I also got an offer for a summer internship so that takes a load off my back.

Can't wait to work and have a great time in the city this summer.
