| ive been bitten by a dog, ive been played by a girl...but this pain is by far the most uncomfortable
never thought a baseball base could own me so badly (ruptured ligament and fractured tibia)
i have lived 20 long years on this earth and this is the first serious injury i have sustained while playing sports. i drank milk almost everyday of my life and one stupid decision to slide when i didnt need to has led me to this.
i was clearly out at 2nd...
surgery on monday ownage from monday till now
it feels like the screws in my ankle are about to pop out and the staples holding the incision closed are about to rip out
its so freaking uncomfortable
peeing is the biggest challenge cause all the blood rushes to the ankle and the pain intensifies
i have mastered the art of doing everything on my bed. i sleep on crumbs from last nights dinner.
this vicodin stuff is not so good, i need the good stuff. but drugs are good
it sucks when the pain is really bad at 4 in the morning and you cant get up for water to take your medicine and you dont want to scream and wake everyone up so youre forced to suck it up. (i almost cried last night, sike)
i havent showered or washed my hair since monday morning and i dont plan to until i have my post op check up which is on friday.
its just a huge clutter around me consisting of drinks, cups, pillows, clothes
i smell
but God is good. Hes given me lots of time to just pray and read his Word. amen to that
ive only gotten out of bed twice today. i dont remember the last time i went ddong. oh, maybe yesterday
ouch

| Glory Revealed, people...Glory Revealed
i dont want to call this a concert because it wasnt just a bunch of talented singers going on stage and singing but it was truly a time when Glory was REVEALED.
i walked into Hylton Memorial Chapel hoping to hear some good music and be blessed by it. i left with a hunger for the word and a heart check. i felt like i was so blind to the treasure stored in the Word. David Nasser might be one of my all time favorite speakers so far. HILARIOUS but so rooted in the Word. If it wasnt for his vision from God, this event would not have taken place and the thousands of people who were there wouldnt have been blessed in such an amazing way.
Glory is Revealed in the WORD. the WORD being Jesus and the Scripture.
Hylton Memorial Tour Buses Inside Mac Powell of Third Day, Candi Pearson-Shelton, and Trevor Morgan Mac Powell, Shawn Lewis, Candi Pearson-Shelton, and Trevor Morgan Tim Neufield of Starfield Tim Neufield, Shane and Shane, Mac Powell, Candi Pearson-Shelton, Brian Littrell, and Trevor Morgan whoa whoa whoa, so hot long line for autographs pre-gaming for brian littrell AMAZING shane and shane candi pearson-shelton, brian littrell and mac powell
BRACE YOURSELF, THIS IS THE ULTIMATE PICTURE. we had to be extra sneaky because they said NO PERSONAL PICTURES

YEAH BOY, picture with Brian Littrell
holy i got some time to speak with all of them and i felt like a freakin idiot cause i was in awe of them. i couldnt speak...i wish i could rewind.
if you get the chance, get on a bus or plane and go to the concert. if not, buy the cd at gloryrevealed.com.
people who are on the cd but not on the tour: steven curtis chapman, mark hall, david crowder, michael w. smith
its not just the concert, its the message behind it. SO DEEP
next up: shawn mcdonald opening for Shane and Shane - May 3 fredericksburg, va

haha the Cross the Line victims
MARCH MADNESS FOLKS. (vcu vs.duke, i called VCU over Duke)
UPDATED 3/20/07
the ides of march, BEWARE
lately, life has been good. actually, its been REAL good.
work is the sucks like always. im about to go to every general dentists office and punch the dentist, just for sending over patients to us. im going to give a roundhouse kick to the face to all the dentists who send their patients to us 10 mins before we are suppose to close. im going to right hook my dentist for keeping us late and accepting the patients 10 mins before we are suppose to close. lastly, im going to build a car that can a) fly b) bulldoze over cars c) all of the above (i hate driving home in traffic)
i believe with somethings in life, theres always a balance. my balance is God, friends, and Joshua Generation. I have been newly appointed as the unofficial Joshua Generation intern aka PJ and P.Changs House Keeper. I look on the To Do list and the first two things on the list is: Clean refrigerator and Dust office. haha, but today was a good day. PJ and P.Chang are fun to be around and i get a glimpse of what youth ministry is like. I think i also need to look for a good deal on a new paper shredder cause i think i broke theirs (it certainly doesnt shred anymore). I have also accepted the task of 9th/10th grade GMC Basketball Coach. I know you guys are thinking, "He's got amazing skills on the court but can he teach it?" Id like to quiet all critics and say that my passion for the game will enable me to do so. I intend to teach them the fundamentals of being a team. we are no longer going to be known as the 9/10 team but the "Jesus Team" because like Jesus we are going to beat the enemy. Jesus did it with prayer and so are we. The 2-3 Zone and Corner Traps and the Full Court Press are going to be mastered. Defense wins champions but my secret Offensive play will have opponents falling to their knees for mercy. I call this play, the Flying V. WATCH OUT.
but yea,so, its junior year. well, it was suppose to be my junior year. if i look back at my calendar from freshman year, it would show that on this day of this year i would be strolling down campus with a smokin' hot girl clinging to my gargantuan arm. but, its not junior year (for me) and im not at rutgers and there is no gargantuan arm...and oh yeah , no smokin' hot babe. i learned that when you learn to settle for nothing less than Jesus, that mindset trickles down to other aspects of your life. im content with the waiting game because in this game, the best get chosen last. that would explain why im still single and youre still single (yeah girl, you know who im talking about. no not you girl, YEAH you girl) watch out prey, this predator is in the jungle and he wants FILET MIGNON. (haha, that was stupid)
on a more serious note, i think being home helped me realize why we need faith. i think a lot of times we are afraid to place our faith in God because we dont know what is going to happen. i think when you dont put faith in the Almighty, you really miss how great of a God he really is. you miss the chance to experience Him in the most amazing way. ive been too comfortable at home.
well, thats all for now.
just look at this picture of john, president of KCF, left on my camera the last time i visited
I dont know what the picture is suppose to sumbolize, i just dont quite get it. Mr Duncan and Mr. Parker, YOU RUINED MY NIGHT
But it is quite possible that Arenas could very well being wearing that belt once the season is over. Dont judge them by how they are playing now, Butler and Jamison is out. I think i just might take the belt to the next game. yes folks, my hair is almost ready for the cornhawk. only a few more weeks of my parents nagging me to cut it. I will complete the cornhawk and then i will cut it. Im just too close to quit now.
p.s. I like PJs approach to lent. I give up giving something up. Someones got to enjoy the luxuries God gives us. Right? PJs a pastor and I want to be one. The kingdom of God is in GOOD hands folks. | | |
