dang, it's been awhile. since august...

~ summer school ended and i got to go home for a week. i multi-tasked: mom, dad, Gman, and i went to that-place-i-forget-the-name-of to watch manoa DNA play because we all wanted to go.  it ended up that Gman's friends all went too, and so did a bunnnnch of my friends. mom was happy cuz she got to see mah friends again. even ikaika girls were there! then we went to club 939 cuz mel's a bartender there. family + choke friends + awesome music + athletic strippers = one fun-filled multi-tasking night. which ended good too, cuz then josh picked me up after work. and we went on a double-date w/jenna and danny to see ricky bobby and play with her nintendog. the whole week was fun like that.

~ school started. it's hard. and there's lotsa reading. but i really like my teachers and my classmates. way better than the general usc population. ha! the funnest is when they let us do stuff, like how i got to use a wheelchair for a day, and how we made hand splints last week, and how tomorrow we're doing a child care activity with preschoolers.  we're doing an animal parade, and i get to teach them the bear walk!!!

~ i got to go home for josh's birthday. he's no longer 12! yayyyyy! we got to hang out w/da buster peeps and with ian. and i bought mom and dad ice cream. that was a nice - super short - weekend.

~ i went to SF for my one-week fieldwork at SFGH. i got to hang out at the GLBT psych ward. SO COOL! we had group sessions and a halloween party and a karaoke group and more. and i learned so much. i didn't really think i'd like psych, but it was really, really neat. those people had some super fun stories (due to their delusions of grandeur). i bet YOU'VE never met debra messing's ex-roommate. or jehovah, mother of the earth. cuz apparently, i have. interesting, interesting stuff.

~ living with ray (and jenny) was so much fun. she made me a home lunch every day, and we watched movies like shrek before bed. my first weekend up there, we went to monterey bay aquarium with julia and daniel guys. ray started substituting, so julia and i got to go to her classroom and help correct papers/color pictures. first grade is so fun! except that by the end of the days, me and ray were always so pooped. jenny slept over, like, 5 times that week! hahah, jenny's a winner. mish and hobag came over when we made shelley's stew. and we made cake. you know on the last night, we had to do partybus for mish and steph's birthdays. there was jenn and kara and random sc people, and syd and morgan! holy shit! we made it to 2/3 clubs. i'm pretty sure that was longer than last time.

~ 1 week til VEGAS!!! i never know whether to be excited or scared. no, i'm excited. thanksgiving is our new pact. i'm still waiting for the official documents... haha. oh yeah, we also decided that we're all gonna live in one huge-ass house. and ray will teach our kids, and i'll play with them, and jenny will doctor them, and mish will do studies on them, and ja will drug them up, etc. etc. etc. and once a month will be girls nite out and the kids will have to stay home with the dads. sounds like fun, doesn't it.

~ dzk is so pimp. we're finally having a formal! wooooohooo! except that i need to get a dress. and some money. these new ones are pretty tight, except that we're still better. hahah. ALWAYS better.

~ i'm home (hopefully) 12/8ish, cuz finals end on the first week. that's the perk of having your teachers schedule finals around each others' schedules. and i started playing n'sync christmas cd again! i LOVE christmastime!
