| RIP.i went to a funeral yesterday. i hate crying in public. but i guess i hate funerals more. a guy [scott] that i worked with got in a horrible car accident and passed away. i don't even know what to say. he had four kids. and i just kept putting myself in their position the whole funeral which is why i think i was crying the whole entire time. i can't grasp the fact that he's actually gone. heck i still can't believe that steve irwin is dead. death is a sad and peculiar thing. think about it. just not too much because it will consume you. ---
--- The world is full of goodbyes. You probably meet a new one every day, but that never makes it any easier. ---

| If my life had a soundtrack, it would be acoustic.i'm going to post actual quotes today. enjoy.
I need, absolutely, to be alone.

Some people are addicts. If they don't act, they don't exist.
---
Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.
---
If you have made mistakes, even serious ones, there is always another chance for you. What we call failure is not the falling down but the staying down.

---
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
---
Every generation laughs at the old fashions, but follows religiously the new.
---
The greatest griefs are those we cause ourselves.
---
Action is eloquence.
---
Truth is beautiful, without doubt; but so are lies.

Waiting for sedation to disconnect my head Or any situation where I'm better off than dead

It's extraordinary how we go through life with eyes half shut, with dull ears, with dormant thoughts. Perhaps it's just as well; and it may be that it is this very dullness that makes life to the incalculable majority so supportable and so welcome. Nevertheless, there can be but few of us who had never known one of these rare moments of awakening when we see, hear, understand ever so much — everything — in a flash — before we fall back again into our agreeable somnolence.

i wish that you could see how this is killing me. if bigger scars make better stories then you should see the scars on me.

when you're young you decide what you can and cannot take. promises that you made, that you wish you wouldn't break. this was over, long before we met.

I had no illusions about love anymore. It came, it went, it left casualties or it didn’t. People weren’t meant to be together forever, regardless of what the songs say.
---
Each year I find a new way to lie a bit more We're all gone just as fast as we came So I'm not counting on a new life, No no no, Tomorrow here I come Darling, you're lovely, but you're awfully naive

Nights spent alone only bring the awkward emptiness you get between a firework lighting up the sky and the boom that follows. Between a joke and the pause before laughter. The high school curiosity between your name being called to the principals office and sitting at his desk. The suspicion between a noise down stairs and turning on the lights. This is your greatest world. Your vision on canvas; lit up and displayed for the world to see. You've constructed these walls and locked the door behind you. Closed up all the blinds and burned down the evidence. Red handed in a black and white world. The cleanest get-away I've ever seen.

Next year's accepting applications, For one night stands and New Years Resolutions. But don't forget what you got right here, My smile's sometimes fake, but me, I'm real.

Anna: Love bores you. Dan: No, it disappoints me. [closer]

Anna: Don't stop loving me. I can see it draining out of you. It's me, remember? It was a stupid thing to do and it meant nothing. If you love me enough, you'll forgive me. [closer]

Larry: Alice, tell me something that's true. Alice: Lying's the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off - but it's better if you do. [closer]

Mark "Rent-boy" Renton: [narrating] Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin? [trainspotting]

Albert Markovski: It's beautiful. Tommy Corn: It's beautiful. [i heart huckabee's]

Dr. Peter Flynn: I understand you're a neurosurgeon. Bert Fischer: No, I'm a barber, but a lot of people make that mistake. [rushmore]

When the moon fell in love with the sun All was golden in the sky All was golden when the day met the night
When the sun found the moon She was drinking tea in a garden Under the green umbrella trees In the middle of summer
When the moon found the sun He looked like he was barely hanging on But her eyes saved his life In the middle of summer (summer)
In the middle of summer All was golden in the sky All was golden when the day met the night Summer (summer) All was golden in the sky All was golden when the day met the night Summer, summer, summer, summer All was golden when the day met the night
So he said, "Would it be all right If we just sat and talked for a little while If in exchange for your time I give you this smile?"
So she said, "That's okay As long as you can make a promise Not to break my little heart Or leave me all alone in the summer."
Well he was just hanging around Then he fell in love And he didn't know how But he couldn't get out Just hanging around Then he fell in love
In the middle of summer All was golden in the sky All was golden when the day met the night Summer All was golden in the sky All was golden when the day met the night Summer, summer, summer, summer When the moon fell in love with the sun All was golden in the sky All was golden when the day met the night
Summer, summer, summer, summer In the middle of summer, summer, summer, summer the middle of summer, summer, summer, summer the middle of summer, summer, summer, summer In the middle of.. ---
