| the sun was blinding as Blue took me home this morning, and as i pulled up to the garage, daughtry's "home" came to a close on xm. how appropriate. i'm 40 minutes shy of having been up for 24 hours. gigs like this make you old. the gut wrenching torment of second guessing myself is over. this will have been a good weekend. one (long) day is for growth, and the other day is leisure.
as these nuggets mcdonalds calls the egg mcmuffin and sausage mcmuffin get inhaled, i smile knowing that the manilla show folder i started filling three months ago can now be filed away. the hardest part is over. i'm on home base tomorrow... total cake.
oh. AND i get to hang a huge gay flag off of rubyskye's awning. i may not get to enjoy pride like everyone else does (why does the term "goooooooooze" come to mind? =] ), but i'll settle for knowing that i helped make it happen for other people.
