a surprise...

my coworkers spoil me.  i had a 3 day intensive course on emulsion-suspension technology in new brunswick monday thru wednesday.  today was my first day back in lab and balanda had mentioned there was a surprise waiting for me when i get back.  so i got into work (i'm usually first or second in the lab) and wait for balanda to come in.  after much convincing, she decides to finally give in and goes back to her corner to reveal my surprise -- only it wasn't from her.  stacy, my manager from when i was an intern left it in the lab for me to receive.  in a cute little paper bag with a photo of a boy on his tricycle above the words "let the good times roll" were the following:

now who the hell gives congratulations-on-your-new-car-and-keep-the-music-pumpin gifts?!  i'm spoiled!!!

can't believe we drove up to fort lee... and it took 2.5 hours!!!  damn traffic!  sorry for the delay jplee, ed, christine!!!  ahhh, but the so kong dong soonduboo was WAY worth it.  holy crap!!!  haven't had that stuff in way too long.  yay to my tC buddy!  my poor car got keyed already ... probably when we were in the diner afterwards.  SO SAD!  but seeing everyone reminded me of cancun -- and that was more than enuff happiness  !!!  thank you janey for navigating!!!
