	SACRAMENTO HEAR I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just can't wait to see all of you. It's going to be a lot of fun. See you all on 23rd!!!!!!!!! Hopefully we (meaning Chad, Marcel, Taylor, and I) will be able to go camping at the beach or Lake Margret. CAMPING ROCKS!!!!!!!!

One of the best weeks of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last Sunday my 4H group and I headed up to Portland to pick up our Interstate Exchange Students from Minnesota. From last Sunday until today has been one of the best weeks of my life.

Ok I will start from the bigging. My "students" name was Jon Wagener. He is pretty much like me except he likes shooting sports, which I think are BORING!!!!!   We got along right away! There were also a lot of other people(guys and girls) in his group that I got along with great. Now I will tell you all the sweet things we have been doing the last week.

SUNDAY: 1. we picked up our delegates
                   2. lunch at Mt. Tabor Park
                     3. visited Salem our state capital

MONDAY: 1. wildlife safari
                   2. Roseburg Forest Products Sawmill Tour
                   3. Douglas County Museum

TUESDAY: 1. Oregon Caves
                      2. Redwoods
                      3. camping for one night at Gold Beach. SWIMMING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

WEDNESDAY: 1. Jerry's Jet Boats on the river. Now this is where it started getting super fun. These jet boats go 60 mph and the driver is a complete nut!

Well we were on this boat ride, which lasted all day, we got to jump off a 30 foot rock and have lunch up the river. Later that day we set up a new camp site at one of the peoples beach houses in our group. This was in Bandon.

THURSDAY: 1. explored Old Town and the Waterfront of Bandon
2. we then departed for the Oregon Dunes Center and from there went to Sandland Adventures Dune Buggy Rides. This part of the trip was almost as cool as the jet boats. we went in this 6 person dune buggy and ripped up the Oregon Dunes a half hour. 70 mph on the sand is one of the few pleasures in life I think. There's just something about tearing up sand that in sooooo COOL!!!!!!!!!

                         3. some of the boring things we did the rest of the day were: a) Sea Lion Caves..........man those guys stink!!! b) Heceta Head Lighthouse Tour.

FRIDAY: 1. Logging Site Tour
                   2. hiking to Watson Falls up the North Umpqua
                   3. Cinnamon Butte Fire Lookout Visit............this lookout thingy was made of wood and was VERY high up............super scary!
                   4. Then Crater Lake!!!!!!!

SATURDAY: 1. went swimming at someones house and at 6:00pm went to the Graffiti Night Cruise in Downtown Roseburg. This consisted of about 200 to 300 classic cars dating from 1900 to 1965.   There were some very hot cars there...........they were burning rubber and cranking there engines to some very high RPM's.................VERY COOL!!!!!!!!!!

SUNDAY(today): Today was the worst day of the hole trip because all the people from Minnesota had to go back home

. So we took them back up to the Portland Airport. It was so hard to say goodbye. It felt like when we moved, because they had grown to be my BIG family. I miss them so much

.

There is a good side to this and it is that next year about this same time my group will be flying Minnesota to that great bunch of people. We will also stay a week. I have no idea what were going to be doing there but I am positive that it will be fun!!!!!!!! I just can't wait!!!

New Job!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I start a new type of job. Instead of throwing hay bales around, I am now going to be packing blueberries at Norris Blueberrie Farm down the road. I have no idea how hard it is so I will see if its worth 10 dollars an hour. My shift starts at 9:00am and goes to 4:00pm.

That was the good in my life. Now for the bad. I had to pay my first insurence bill which was $400

. This will make me insured untill November 3rd, which I guess is'nt that bad.
