illustration friday:  mischief (in the making!)

well, i'm quite the woman on fire today, thanks to a massive kick in the ass from our friend elle :) sometimes i need a little motivation! i feel so much better for it, had been feeling so sluggish from a nasty cold that i was little miss procrastinator. but managed to get a bunch of things accomplished, including this week's i.f. challenge.

not having any munchkins of my very own, i borrow them and corrupt them thoroughly. their parents are fully aware of my intentions, and laughingly support me in my mission. a few months ago, one of my favorite baby-makers created another little buddy for me, and it being mother's day yesterday, thought it only appropriate to paint mother and daughter, illustrating my future mischief!

You are full of mischief Kerry! Look at that cheeky grin ... won't be long before that babe's 'sponge look' becomes as mischievous as yours. You really captured the expression of little buddy's face excellently.

Oh this is priceless!!! I can't wait to meet these little munchkins (and I have a few ideas I can lend you towards their mischief-development... hehehehe). Thank goodness my kids are beyond your sway! Are you feeling any better?

You sound like me. I like to spoil 'em rotten, then send them home to Mommy and Daddy!

This is great, and really true to life. You often see mothers hold their babies just so, sharing them with the world while still straining to see the beloved face themselves. Beautiful job!
