Every last word of this rings true to me.  Did you notice the references to Disney and supporting sister sites contained within the weblog?  I definitely had a nagging feeling about it.  All the same, it is nice to receive such a clever and effective marketing scheme for a change.  By the way, nice weblog.  Come visit sometime.

This is a great weblog - very witty!  I also had a suspicion about the whole Bianca Broussard thing as my email address had been removed from an old work website and I couldn't figure out how "she" got it.  Lol.  Still this weblog idea could be a good thing and it seems that there are a whole bunch of great people on here :o)

You are doing a great job with this weblog. I knew Bianca was a marketing scheme from the git-go, but only because she used a yahoo screen name that I only use for that one web page. A personal letter to "allie_laurie" does not quite have the same impact as one to "Alice," which if she had actually read my pages, she would have known immediately. But my interest was aroused anyway and here I am and here we all are... and I couldn't be happier about that.

Public Reproof:  How dare you assault our dear Bianca?  We ALL love Bianca, we ALL need Bianca!  If you're so brilliant (private aside: apparently you are!), why don't you start you're own weblog and shamelessly promote it in this insidiously-imagined fashion! Why has Bianca disappeared? Probably she's too "hot" an item by now--after all this commotion--and so she's metaphorically sitting in a ski chalet somewhere sipping hot chocolate. Look for Bianca possibly to never resume her recruiting now that we are on to her; rather I'd bet that a Bianca-clone arises like the mythological phoenix to spread the gospel of xanga throughout the pagan web!

Wow you must just have the phlair for writing because I addressed the Bianca problem in my weblog and I didn't get as big of a response as you did! But you guys may be right about her being a non-entity..still, someone wrote those journals on her site and discussed "Names" and linked those cool sites to her log...so someone must be there. I think she is hiding from us all. And even though Xanga is cool and it's fun wasting time around here, I still say it was a dishonest ploy, and that I do NOT applaud lies like "I passed along your URL to someone else" so I say SHAME on Bianca Broussard. Hee-hee! Bravo and bravo to all your responders! Bianca can't be all that bad if she managed to bring about such good-natured happy people who enjoy a good ploy every now and again. Either way, this is a fairly good idea, though not a a new one, and seems to have brought alot of good, intelligent and happy people together to connect..

Can we really complain about that?

Ya know, I was a little suspicious from the beginning but I never got the bounced email.  OTOH the little marketing deal DID flip me over here, which isn't a bad thing. 

And while I'm thinking about it. . . this weblog is new, and you're using a yahoo account.  But could I fall for the same trick twice. . . . naaaahhhhhhhh  ;-)
