| | "so easy to love"
i really don't have much to say. i'm thinking about the fact that
i have to go to school again tomorrow and really just how much i've
truly enjoyed this weekend. and now that my batts are almost
recharged, time to get back to the mess.
it'll be good. i'm just afraid that i won't get across what i
want to get across, which is that there is so much for them.
there truly is!
missed 'arrested development' to catch up on some much-needed blogging. ad is one of the few shows i try to catch anymore.
but i did watch the last four innings of the last sox-on-sox
game. highly entertaining. nail biter. as well as the next
night's game. my high school (the one i teach at. not
attend.) had a football game against a team that handed them their
jockstraps last season on my school's homecoming. this year, we
beat them in overtime on their homecoming. the other team is more
talented, is faster, is bigger. but when it came to it, our boys
put the stop on them, often at the line, just yards from the end
post. telling you, little is scarier than seeing the other team
is first and goal. and they held them, three times. i kid
you not. i was really excited. they were/are really
excited. the last game of the season is our homecoming this
thursday. we may get post-season play. no state. but
still, this is exciting.
i wrote a reply to gabi's hate-mongering on sports.
i don't know if she'll read it. it's on one of her abandoned
sites, furtherup.blogspot.com. i did get one reply to it. a
nice young man by the name of Jerome Jackson was showing me how to get
ahold of anything having to do with, say, construction equipment. that was awefully nice of him, no?
The Gospel was pretty
decent. Nothing spectacular about it. Good music, but I've
heard most of it before. Decent retelling of the prodigal son
story, but not incredibly believable. Nor was it
incredulous. Better than too many movies. Yet, I want a
spectacular movie. I want to have a movie I could have in common
with my non-believing friends. And, although i think i may highly
enjoy The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, i doubt many grown non-christians will. but check out this early review anyway.
ehhh, should begin the arduous two-block road trip home, eh?
peace out.
