Photo Friday Challenge:  Perspective

Pictured:  The gorgeous sunset that occured on Thursday evening, after the crazy storms that blew through DFW.  Even though it was seen through power lines and an ugly back parking lot, it was still breathtaking.  That's perspective.  It was the craziest thing, 'cause I'm always at work when it's time for the sun to set and we don't have many windows...so I always miss it.  Well, after the storms I walked by the kitchen window and noticed that it was glowing orange so I stuck my head out the door and I saw the beautiful sunset.  I even made Joel stop what he was doing to go look at it too.  It was like God was saying, "Hey, you guys made it through those storms, here's your reward."  Even the Dallas Morning News put a picture of the sunset on the front page yesterday.  Cool, huh?

Next time Xanga decides to do maintenance, they should just go ahead and say 'expect the site to be down ALL day'...don't tease us by saying a few hours...a few hours more...just a little while longer now.  Hmph.  Oh well, it's up now and that's fine.
