   Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
   Love doesn't strut,
   Doesn't have a swelled head,
   Doesn't force itself on others,
   Isn't always "me first,"
   Doesn't fly off the handle,
Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
   Doesn't revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
   Puts up with anything,
   Trusts God always,
   Always looks for the best,
   Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.

it's been an interesting week. I have a lot of learning to do with these beautiful verses.

I have a couple of things to say, AU.

Sometimes I wonder the purpose of such things. . .

1. The leaves are pretty!  The fall is gorgeous!  Don't blow all the leaves into huge nasty wet piles on the street the day they fall...let us enjoy crunching them for at least a day.

2.  This one is for you, student safety services workers . . .Don't make putting $50 parking tickets on our cars a game . . .its not funny...its not a race to see how many you can "screw" in one day!  Seriously, if only we knew which cars you drove...

3.  We love the Christmas lights!  Please put them up!  We love the ice scuptures, why take them away??

4.  Rec services . . .job well done.  But seriously, friendliness is a good thing, and being ridiculously anal is not.

5.  And did we seriously have to switch from our beloved office 2003 to Office '07?  Us seniors are too old to handle this new formatting of our beatiful technology.

Don't get me wrong -- AU is a great place to be.  I don't regret choosing here for a minute.  Sometimes you just have to wonder who's making these decisions.

2 Corinthians 12:10
That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

it's been a long time since i've updated .  . . whew . . .a lot has happened . ..
it's my senior year -- i'm living in a senior apt . . .which is sweet --
not sure what the future holds for me --
and i'm finding (slowly) that its ok
that's it for me -- cuz my belly is hungry

Ephesians 3:11-21

My response is to get down on my knees before the Father, this magnificent Father who parcels out all heaven and earth. I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit--not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength--that Chrst will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in with all Christians the extravagent dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.

God can do anything, you know--far more than you could ever imagin or guess or request in your wildest dreams! he does it not by pushing us around buy by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
