| So me and Sarah will depart on out journey today. I seem to have something stuck in my eye so in the morning we will goto an eye doctor or the er to get the piece of metal removed.... Afterwards at some point we need to go by her parents house for something and then we will come back home to finish loading the car and then off to the races. Well actually probably sams to buy groceries and snacks for the trip. QuickTrip for a surprise lotto ticket for my lovely girlfriend, and pop for the cooler. Then we are off to Stillwater Oklahoma to show Sarah my Aunt Kathleens Printing business that her and Uncle Joe ran before he died and now she runs on her own. Might take her out to their warehouse and show her the old bass boat Uncle Joe called the 'bolt'.. We will stay the night with Aunt Leen and then Friday Morning we will head out towards Arkansas where our first stop is at the first Walmart, for some reason she wants to see it. I think we will make it out to Eureka Springs that night, but we will have to go back to Rogers because that is where the motel room is for the first night. Saturday back to Eureka Springs where we will probably start our visit with a horse carriage ride to see what all there is around town. I am not sure about the rest of the weekend other than we are staying at an amazing cabin.. I am pretty excited and Sarah is all bubbly... ANyways I'll probably post some pictures on here when we get back... Until then... | | |

| Sarah wanted to go on a trip this summer and we had originally thought about going to Texas. SHe wanted to goto the coast and see the ocean. With the heat what it is and the gas prices being as high as they are I suggested not going south. We talked about it and it is just as hot north east and west of here... So I went to the internet and we decided that the Beaver lake area had some nice places out in Arkansas.. As I looked around I found a place that had some amazing looking cabins so we talked about it and I booked us a two night stay at Beaver Lakefront Cabins. www.beaverlakefrontcabins.com It's alittle pricy, but we have saved up enough for it and everything else...The plan so far is we will head out on thurday afternoon and stay with my Aunt in Stillwater Oklahoma. Friday morning we will head towards Eureka Spring and see all the sites. Friday night we will go back to Rogers where we have reservations. Saturday mornig we will drive back to Eureka Spring and get back to seeing the sites. Check in at the cabins is at 3pm, but who knows when we will actually go out there. We'll stay at the cabin sat and sun nights and then on monday probably take a last trip around the area before heading home to Wichita. It should be a fun trip with everything that there seems to be out there.... Sarah is all excited about the trip, I guess I am too, just not as bubbly. I am sure it will be a good time none the less.. | | |
