First things first.

Happy New Years to you all.

This is kind of overdue, but I am recovering from being sick after my vacation.  My resolution is very basic and simple, yet is going to be the hardest thing I've ever done......

NO MORE SHOES.

Yes you heard right, time to put my money to more constructive use.

Anyway, I know most of you are reading this like, why the hell did j.peezy start a new xanga entry after over 6 months?  Well, the reason is I have mad thoughts going on in my head and I need to get it down.  The majority of the thoughts are in regards to my recent trip to the Philippines.  Yes, this was my first time there since I left there 23 years ago.  It was truly a humbling and life changing experience.  It was such a beautiful country with luscious scenery and very accomadating people.  Seeing the way the poor was living out there really put me in my place and had me feel very fortunate to be in the position I am in.  It really hits home when all the people you see struggling are people who look like yourself.  If my parents hadn't moved to the U.S. that could have been easily been me.  On the plane ride back I had a lot of time to think, and I came to the conclusion that I am not taking advantage of the position I am in.  This is the land of opportunity, it's time to make some moves.

So, I wrote down a list of things I wanted to do before I was 30.  While I won't put the whole list down, some of the things are:

-atleast a million dollars in assests (home, stocks, etc.)

-acquire a PHD and/or another Masters in Business Admin.

-owning a company/non-profit

-own land in the Philippines

-own land in Vegas/Cali/SC/VB

-become fluent in tagalog

I also plan to get more involved on helping to give back to the homeland, I don't really want to get involved in the politics, I just want to give back.  I have already looked at www.pafc-inc.org and http://www.fapi.org, does anyone know a good organization?

Anyway, on to pics of my trip.  Our layover stop, Seoul Korea

Philly. 4.8.06

Decided to give the working class out there something to read on this manic monday since no one updates anymore. So Erin has been wanting to go see this exhibit in Philly at the Franklin Institute called Body Worlds. So I made plans this weekend for a daytrip to philly. Here's a visual recap:

The beautiful weather.

This exhibit was quite shocking (no pun intended).

Touching the oldest object in the world.

In front of a elephants heart, the biggest heart in the world.

This pendulum supposedly goes back and forth based on the earth's gravitational pull. But, we saw some guy at the top swinging it.

We were walking down a hall and Alan and Don thought this hall looked like a wallclimb wall so they decided to try to climb it. They even got a little girl to try to climb it.

After philly we went to New Jersey's Ocean city and i went surfing.

Don thought it was gonna be nice out so all he was wearing was a blazer and a pink tanktop underneath it.

The first exhibit in the art museum, the most beautiful girl in the world.

the real reason i went to philly. cheesesteaks.

This trip made me realize a vacation is so necessary, hadn't had one since miami two months ago, that's too long without a vacation.

In other news Aldog single handedly made us lose our soccer game last night 16-1. Quite embarassing.

24 tonight. Jack Bauer vs. President Logan. It's so on.

P.S. Don, you can click on the pics if you want to save them.
