MAN UP!

Okay so I have a question. What do you all think about a guy laying his head in your lap or laying on you? I dont know...dont u think thats like a sign of insecurity or something? I was chillin w/ this guy and I tried to lean in and lay on his shoulder but somehow he ended up with his head in my lap. Im sittin here like WTF! What the hell is this GROWN ASS MAN doing with his head in MY lap? It was just wierd. And when I was thinking back...all the guys that have ever put their head in my lap were a bit insecure and looking for someone or something to validate them. Like I let my little cousins do that when they are sick or hurt...but they are BOYS!! Not twenty-something year old men! I really thought it was the other way around. Isnt HE supposed to make me feel SECURE and SAFE? Shouldnt I be resting in HIS arms? I mean am I tripping? Is it normal for a dude to put his head in a girls lap? Like especially if u dont love him and yall are still in the dating/getting to know each other phase. I was so frustrated...I wanted to scream MAN UP! Damn! I spose it shouldnt be a big deal but I was just curious....What do y'all think?

Im so happy...I had a really great Friday! Yay-ness!!!

Today was the 60th year celebration at work so I had a very light workload....It was great!! I danced and ate free food. I raced against my friend in rock climbing...I lost but it was still an incredible experience!! I want to do it again! Then I played Less than a Millionaire...a knockoff of one of my favorite game shows. I won 100,000 in fake money!!! EXCITEMENT!!!

After work I went to STRIP, a bar in Atlantic Station. They had a live Jazz Band outside and I was totally feeeeeeling it. Then it happened....Janelle Monae came on stage! I was geeking! She is SO great!!! It was such a bittersweet moment because I was SO close to her but I didnt have my camera! GRR!!! But after the show I got to meet her! She is so nice! She hugged me and had a conversation w/ me and everything! Gotta love it!! One of my friends took a picture on his camera phone so hopefully that will turn out nice. But if notIll always have memories!! Aww, Im so happy! YAY!!

Then we get back to the apartment and I discover a VIP pass for me and a guest to a Lyfe Jennings concert on Tuesday!!! GEEKING!!! I wanted to go ever since I found out he was coming to ATL but it is an invite only concert and you have to win tickets. Excitement! Man, I cannot wait!!!  I hope he performs S.E.X.I love that song!

Ahh so that was pretty much my dayI know maybe its simple to some but this is what a good day looks like to me! I am so content! So very happy!!  The only grr part was that everyone went out to a 21 & up spot tonight and I couldnt go cuz Im underage! But its okay.it will make next weekend even sweeter when I am finally legal!!! Please believe its going down in ATL for my 21^st birthday!! Yall aint ready!!! What happens in Atlanta STAYS in Atlanta!! Lol j/pbut it should be fun! J
