watsup all. haha, xanga IS still around! anyway, after about a year of not bloggin, here we go again....

currently on a deployment to beautiful Okinawa, Japan.... my fuckin nut. i hate this place. i miss US of A. however i did accomplish a lot since ive been here:

-finally advanced to the next rank. you may now call me HM3 Ancheta. sounds good huh?
-won 1st place in a texas hold 'em tournament out of 34 ppl. won pretty good money and felt like i was the best for at least one night.
-i can do 7 pull ups. thats good from only being able to do a max of 5 chin ups teehee!
-saved more money than ive ever had before
-started up this collection of CD's, instead of burning stuff from the internet. i dunno why, just did.

i guess its not that much. haha. theres other minor shit but im too lazy to write it. umm... yeah...

im pretty sad im leaving NMCSD the pride of navy medicine. lol. yep, surprising to say, but i will miss that place. even though ive felt many a times that working in the hospital sucked, i will miss the people. it never really hit me how much the staff appreciated my work until they threw the big ol' potluck. some of the nurses were surprised cuz they said even though there were like 20 ppl who left this summer, i probably had the best and biggest one. ill especially miss all those hot nurses and doctors. something about doctors who arent that pretty but are so hot just cuz they doctors. then theres the ppl who helped me out and thought i could do anything.

i had a pretty good weekend. went to san francisco and it was alright. this past week, my aunt stayed with me. she did make things more interesting. i got tired from driving though. 2 days in a row i drove to la and back. then i drove to san francisco. 8 hours going up there, total of at least 12 hours of driving back. im glad i went with my aunt, april, aaron, leslie and noel. we stayed at the mariott for mad cheap and we pretty much split all the bills. we went to see the golden gate bridge, china town, fishermans wharf, some of downtown, alcatraz from a far and i think it was called twin peaks. san francisco was nice but it reminded me too much of vancouver except not all the hookers and bums volunteering to get beat up if u give em money. i also improved my ability to stay awake while driving. before this trip, i would fall asleep and doze off while in the drivers seat a lot. but going to san francisco and coming back, i felt fine while i was driving except when i had to switch with april going there cuz i worked the night before.

it was stupid but we got a chevy malibu as a rental and it was alright as a car but the seats were fuckin horrible. and i got full coverage on insurance with the car and i kept thinking of ways to fuck the car up and profit from it. like the best idea i had was to ram the chevy malibu hard into noel's xterra, enough so his car would have to be replaced. i wouldnt pay a dime and noel would get money, bright idea eh? i also smoked 2 cigarettes even though i was sober. didnt get to do as much drinking as i wanted to over the weekend.

im pretty sleepy now at work. ttyl

yeah, im real happy today. yep, its still going strong... maybe even stronger.

fuck dude, i been going to the casinos like crazy. i lost 1500 dollars, at least, no joke. i need a new hobby or something to keep me occupied like a gf. but those take too much time and effort. haha

im expecting auntie dhors last week of june. got a lot of things planned. if all goes well, well be going to san francisco to visit some of her friends for independence weekend. i cant wait.

i also had a talk with an old acquaintance of mine. shes supposedly coming down here to LA area in december. ill go clubbing with her and shit. but she can dance all she wants, im going to the club to drink. and oh yes, ill be 21 by then.

im leaving san diego in about a month and a half. havent packed shit. dont know where my furniture is going and shit so im not ready at all.

aarons graduation is this friday. i hope that fucker is excited and gets a haircut. very few school related subjects excite him. i dont blame him though. and then his bday party and grad party is this sat. i gotta bbq. haha, i hope i dont mess dat shit up. ill be a fuckin embarrassment feeding ppl undercooked meat.

i went to my ball thing last friday. i had a lot of fun. we went to the casino afterwards again. haha. but got to see most of the ppl i work with there dressed all fancy. got to drink in public. for some reason, Coronas taste better when u drink it illegally in public. yesterday i bought a 12pack of Coronas, and nope, didnt taste as good as the ones in the ball.

haha, i learned how to changed my motor oil on monday. i felt pretty good! got the oil and grease all over my shirt and hands. got two major scratches on my left arm trying to screw my oil filter in. and it only cost me a total of 13 bux. i prolly couldve gotten it cheaper if i wasnt in such a rush to buy the motor oil. so any of you wanna know how to change motor oil and oil filters in your car... just ask me, and ill ask my friend to teach you, haha.

last weekend was dissapointing. wasted my money for paying a hotel in big bear lake but didnt go. everyone bailed. fuck that, im never gonna go with them to something big like that. im trying to make new plans to go snowboarding during march. 60 bux a night in a cabin that the military has in big bear lake.

haha, yesterday i went to work out at the gym before work. that would mean i would have to take a shower in the gym's locker room and bring all my clothes, soap, toothbrush, and such. i had everything i needed, at least i thought i did, until i realized i forgot to bring some socks. at first i thought i could just use the old socks i had on. but they were all sweaty and smelly and shit cuz i havent done laundry for a while and i put those on at home thinking i was gonna get em sweaty after running anyway. i took a whiff of dat shit, big mistake. soo... using my military training to adapt and overcome, i decided to wash em on the sink and dry my socks using the hand dryer. pretty smart eh? i felt pretty good about myself until i saw a reflection of myself standing by the hand dryer, drying some socks. fuckin pathetic eh? but it worked.

damn yo, one of my friends got admitted to the ICU yesterday. he got intubated and the whole works. at first i was kinda pissed cuz he called me to take him to his doctor while i was trying to get some sleep. then when i saw him fuck. and then he saw his doctor and told him to go to the ER of Sharps Memorial. but the car ride there was kinda uncomfortable. i had my friend who couldnt fuckin breathe and me trying to drive as fast as i can to get to the er. i kept debating whether i should call 911. but luckily his airway didnt close and i was able to get him to the er. but by then his condition was so bad they had to put the tube down his throat. ill prolly go visit him tomorrow after work.
