| The Most Bizarre movie EVER!!!!!!!!Ive been going to movies a lot lately with my movie buddy Harley.
we've seen "Borat", "For Your Consideration", "Stranger than Fiction", "Apocolypto", and just recently "Perfume".
heres my critique:
Borat- Fuckin Funny but you gotta hang your head a little bit on some of the outlandish comments made by ordinary american people unsuspectadly caught on celluloid. Wow, can you believe we come so far and yet there are some that are still so narrow minded.
For Your Consideration- Christopher guest movies are just awesome, but, this one was a bit bland. Catherine O'Hara is always soo brilliant, and PARKER POSEY...nuff said. Gorsh I love Parker!
Stranger than Fiction- I really really really liked this movie. Maggie Gylellanhal is just a doll, and Will Ferell wasnt abnoxious like he normally is. I like that.
Apocolypto- Hhhmmmm..... I am a bit torn between whether I liked it or not. Cinematography was on and off. Brilliant shots with a few naseua enducing shaky camera techniques reminiscent of how they shot "Blair Witch Project" thrown in. Storyline was interesting. Too bad the movie will have stigma since the director has soo much stigma. REALLY REALLY LONG ASS MOVIE!
Then Came "Perfume: The Story Of A Murderer". Bloody brilliant in a very dark twisted way.
The movie is based off a book by Patrick Suskind. The story is about a boy who is born with this amazing gift of having a heightened sense of smell. He grows up and becomes this awkward kinda creepy boy. I really dont wanna say too much, but lets just say the movie gets really bizarre. At times it was humorous, often times it was morbidly fascinating and quite weird. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!
I guess i have always been into those off films, and this is definitly off. I havent heard any negatives to this film quite yet, im sure they will be a lot especially the ones who dont like disturbing films. The Main character you cant help but love and yet you are sooo spooked by him and his actions. The ending is just crazy.
If you wanna see a film you cant really describe afterwards, go see this movie.
PLUS, Ben Whisham is absolutely gorgeous even looking all yuck in this film.

pain and loss are tremendous and sometimes i can go days without even
thinking of him.
There is a certain amount of grieving that must
be done to move on, although you never really move on. If it was
something deep and meaningful, it usually leaves a huge scar, a tear in
your heart.
Time heals all wounds, but with a wound like this one, it healed awkward and left a huge scar.
As
time goes on, as I get older, the scar fades a bit, but I can still
feel it. a few times I have done the foolish thing and treaded the
water that left me with the wounds, only to end of with me opening them
again.
My realization is that I cant go back to this place I have longed.

maybe it is the truth; maybe I wasnt meant to be in his life, and that my presence was a fluke..
If I was meant to be there, wouldnt I be able to get my second chance?
I
mean I almost always get that second chance, ive been lucky for that, I
have always had my second time around, to repair damages, fix whats
been broken, tie up the loose ends.
But not with him. At first it angered and saddened me. kept asking why.
Now I realize, I dont need to have a second go at it, when I dont think I was supposed to have a first go.
He never was and never will be mine. Time to let go.
Time to move on. I think I am ready...

| Naruto's, Jack Sparrow's, and cosplay oh my!So last weekend was non-stop for me. Friday I pulled a double and worked from 8am until midnight. It was crazy. I was doing fine until about 8pm then I was really feeling it. Note to everywhere(if you dont already know) i tend to get strange when I am tired.
After some convincing from my buddy booksellers Amy & Catherine, I started to moan into the headsets, calling out "Oh Brad!"(the service manager). That passed most of the time.
I got home from work around like 12:35am, then it was shower, shorts, bed, dreams.
I had to be up early for "work" the next day.
Harley , Amy, and I were going to go help out with the Borders booth at the Phoenx Comicon.
This Comicon is a LOT smaller then the San Diego Comicon, but it was still pretty interesting.

| I'm in love with a strict machine...So I have to say I have had soo much fun for my 24th birthday! it was sooo incredibly awesome.
my budz took me out for dinner at RA sushi bar ( I know I know, I dont eat sushi , but they have really good teriyaki and spicy sesame wings).
I was sooo thrilled my chum Ryan L. came down from Tuscon to join me for my b-day. its been like three years since i last saw him so it was definitly a blast. When I showed up Nellz, Harley,and Harleys friend Phillip were already there. I was a bit late to my own Bday. Fucking roads in Tempe are a bitch cuz most of them are under construction ( almost all roads in fuckin AZ are all tore up, this light rail better be fuckin worth it!) so I had a bitch of a time trying to get on the 60W without taking the 101S (the 101 was closed and still is due to construction for the lightrail).
well we got ourselves a nice big booth and were shortly joined by my gals Kara, Serene, and Homaira. Those ladies are my crazy babes!
we ate some dinner. I had fun watching Harley and Nella drunk off theirs asses trying to figure out hwo to take pictures with my camera. After fuckin around with buttons and turning it on and off millions of times, they managed to take some awesome pix before my cameras batteries went dead( I flipping forgot to get my charged batteries, note for next time, bring more batteries).
Nellz had her camera, but her camera is all screwy and take weird pix with pink lines all over the place.
After dinner we went to drop off our cars at Nellas house so we could all go in two cars to Amsterdam. well when I pull up to Nellas, i noticed they are all out in her carport standing aroudn her car. So I park and walk up to hear Nella tell me she accidently locked her keys in her car in the ignition, WITH THE ENGINE STILL RUNNING!
dumb ass. lol. So After an hour of trying to jimmy her locks and shit, with a very mgguiver style, Harley got teh automatic door lock to unlock using a butter knife and a wire hanger.
Off to Amsterdam, we hung there for a while then we all felt kinda exhausted from the events of the day so we all packed up went went home. It was great!
