this morning i heard an early morning televangelist advocating support for President Bush's supreme court judge appointments, based on a verse from the book of Judges that called for obedience to the judges of the land.

that's right, he was equating modern judiciary system officials to the hebrew judges of the old testament. i dont even know what to say...

I'm not saying the Televangelist is the devil, but that the bible is so huge that even its biggest opponents can find SOMETHING to help their case.

I'm gonna go find some verses that support why I shouldn't have to do my research paper.

Will Gonzales lead us into battle? I think I will stay home for that one. Of course, I don't think Ehud would make a good Supreme Court Justice. He would just go around stabbing fat men...although, the percentage of obesity would go down. Take that France!

RYC: I heard that this season of 24 was disappointing. I'm not going to lie, the middle of Lost this season was a bit of a let down, but it did redeem itself by the end. I'm sorry to hear that 24 wasn't able to do the same thing. On the bright side, you can now know the gloriousness that is the best show on television. (And there's always next season for the second best.)
