And he never failed to amaze and inform me. So when i heard that he was writing a book i couldnt wait to get my hands on it. In my denomimation, which i share with Dr. Creps, there is a moderate amount of writing going on, but much of it is less than relevant to a 20 something college student, in my opinion at least. That's why i loved ORD so much. It is one of the best books i've read on spiritual disciplines, and so the fact that it came from someone in the denomination i was raised in was an added bonus.

As far as the book itself goes, i found it to be well written and extremely well though out. i love the break in the book between personal and corporate disciplines. As a Chi Alpha "missionary in training" there are several ideas and suggestions Dr. Creps addresses that i will make a point of putting into practice. And, as someone who is involved in ministry, i really enjoyed the chapter on witnessing. (Chapter 5) As Christians it's supposed to be part of our every day life, and yet we make it so much harder than it really should be. Dr. Creps point of view really challenged the way i had been looking at witnessing, and changed the way i think about it.

On top of being an excellent book, written by someone i have a huge amount of respect for, getting a free preview copy of this book was jsut icing on the cake. thank your Dr. Creps for the opportunity to be a part of this, and for the book.
