Mid Summer Update

Once again it is time to update after puitting it off for awhile. My summer has gone well as I have been busy with my internship. I was gone for a week to St. vincent. It was an awesome trip!! I got to preach twice and one lady got saved while we were there. We also got to see a lot of beautiful sights and we got to go snorkling. I have preached twice at my home church this summer and that has been a real joy. Yesterday I went with a friend of mine to visit his neighbor who wasn't saved and he accepted the Lord. It was really awesome!! Well that's about it for me, I may get around to updating one more time before summer ends. Probably not though.

Summer Time

I had some time today and decided to update. Summer has been going well. I am doing an internship at my home church this summer and that has been a blessing and a challenege. Next thursday I leave for St. Vincent. Ten teens and three chaperons from our church are going down for a week. We will be doing some manual labor, helping with a youth ralley, some street evangelism and Pastor Ward and I are preaching. Not much else going on outside of my internship. I did go see the movie Cars and it was awesome. I havwe done a little fishing tto. I miss everyone from school. Well almost everyone. Looking forward to seeing you guys this fall.

I'm Back

Well I haven't written a blog in forever, so I apologize for anyone who has been glued to the screen waiting to see what new and exciting things are going on in my life. Since my last blog entry I have been appointed as Head RA for next year, preached in chapel, and was also chosen to preach at Bible Center. Other than that nothing major. My Sis came up a couple weekends ago and that was really cool. Oh, wow how could i forget RA retreat??? A weekend of great food, rest, and no school work!!! Oh my word what an awesome weekend. Now I am in the last week of school. I finished my last exam today YAY. But going home means not seeing freinds for awhile which stinks. Other than that I am looking forward to the summer. I will be doing an internship at my home church and at the end of June I will be going to St. Vincent for a week. Good stuff. Well I think I've caught everyone up to date on my life. Look for my next blog entry around July 4th at this rate.

Been awhile

Wow, I can't believe how long it has been since I updated. Well I gotta start off with this past weekend. Me and a couple friends went to the race at Martinsville and it was awesome. God blessed us with a place to stay, a place to park, beautiful weather, and a good race. I hadn't been to a race for a couple years and almost had forgotten how awesome they are. Everyone should go to at least one nascar race in their lives. I think I am going to see if the deans will make that a requirement. The rest of the week has been ok. School is getting to be a struggle. I am definetly ready for summer. I preached 1 on 1 with Dean Carfrey the other night and that went well. It's kinda ironic, I'll go from preaching to one person to preaching to 300 in chapel. Today was awesome, mainly because it's friday. We had spring music festival tonight and it was really good. I am not really a big fan of the finer arts but it was a really moving concert. I also watched Narnia and it was just another reminder of Christ's sacrifice for us. We truly serve an awesome and risen Savior!!!!!

Monday urrrg

Well it is the beginning of a new week. But the weekend was good. Bible study was awesome Friday night . We had a great lesson of God's love and compassion out of John 11 and of course an awesome meal once again. Thank you ladies. Then yesterday was cool as well. Pastor Naf had two very challenging sermons and Rebekah, Sara, Katie, and went ot eat at Macados. As for the week ahead, English Lit. exam today and a 10 page paper on Friday but Sunday is only 6 days away. Gentlemen Start Your Engines!!!!!!!
