The four aspects that make up this personality type are:
Summary of Strategists
Quiet, easy-going and intellectually curious
Use logical, objective thinking to find original solutions to problems
Think of themselves as bright, logical and individualistic
May be impractical, forgetting practical issues, such as paying bills or doing the shopping
More about Strategists
Strategists are quiet people who like to get to the heart of tough
problems on their own and come up with innovative solutions. They
analyse situations with a sceptical eye and develop ways of measuring
everything, including themselves.
Strategists are the group most likely to say they are unhappy in their job, according to a UK survey.
Strategists are generally easy-going. They are intellectually
curious and enjoy abstract ideas. Sometimes they like thinking of a
solution to a problem more than taking practical steps to solve it.
In situations where they can't use their talents, are unappreciated,
or not taken seriously, Strategists may become negatively critical or
sarcastic. Under extreme stress, Strategists could be prone to
inappropriate, tearful or angry outbursts.
Strategists may be insensitive to the emotional needs of others or how their behaviour impacts the people around them.
Strategist Careers
Strategists are often drawn to technical or scientific careers, where
specialist knowledge is required. They also seem to enjoy jobs that
involve long-term planning, abstract thinking or design.
So nice to see our xanga ring is growing, just like HKCF, with all new
bros and sis's having come to join. Unfortunately, many new faces here
I do not know. May God bless them with a smooth journey in Cornell and
a good fellowship to learn that life is more than hard study.
Learning from xanga and emails that many of our bros and sis's are
having challenges in their lives, small ones and big ones, I am
reminded of Kyle's description of Cornell as a retreat site. God has
sheltered us thru our years at Cornell; I blieve that, now it's the
time for God to harvest. He raised us and now He puts us on trial to
test our faith. This is the journey everyone of us has to pass through.
The only difference is whether we believe there is a Moses who will
lead us through the Rea Sea.
I, for one, is having some little trouble in Beijing. The packages I
sent from Ithaca to Beijing through a shipping company arrived early
last week. They had to have my passport, which I left in Macau, to
claim the packages. So I have to ask my parents to fedex it to me.
After I brought those ID and passport over to their downtown office,
they said I had to go to their airport branch to pick up the packages
myself. Without a choice, I went to the airport and only figured the
computer and hifi packages had to be taxed by the custom and worst of
all I didn't bring enough cash. I didn't expect the tax is so heavy
that I don't have that much in my account and eventually I had to
borrow from my nice advisor...... the whole thing took me three days
and I am now indebt. But I am still thankful to my heavenly Father. I
know this is just too little to be worth mentioned, compared to what I
might face ahead in my life or what my brothers are facing.
As for the church in Beijing, I am still in the process of searching. I
visited the ChongWenMen Church last two weeks but figured it's too far
away and too crowded. I will try the HaiDian Church this week.
