 Found this on some website.  It sums up a lot of conversations I had with customers while working as a customer service/tech support rep.

This guy calls to complain that his custom built laptop isn't shipping soon enough, even though the ship date was displayed on his order before he placed it.  (He knew the date, ordered it anyway.)   Here's a summary of the call:

Consumer: "I'm an illiterate asshole, fix my problems."
CS Rep: "We can't give you priority over the 100 million other orders we have, please understand."
Consumer: "Suck a golf ball through a garden hose. You guys suck. How about you just overnight ship it?"
CS Rep: "Sorry to hear your dissatisfaction, call this number to request a change in shipping."
Consumer: "I called and they didn't offer me coitus. This is an outrage."
CS Rep: "Try the number again and request a supervisor."
