  • Day 2

I promise I'm not going to number every day of school, but my creativity is waning at 11pm.

School actually went great today.  Everyone enjoyed our map activity.  Levi (4) even colored.  It was a power ranger picture, but he sat and participated.  Sam cooperated and when he had had enough the kids took turns doing puzzles and playing racecar with him.  This is hopefully how the year will work.

Football practice is Tues & Thur from 5-7.  It is soooo hot, but there's a great shade tree IF you had a 20-month old who liked to play in one area.  Sam must go from place to place during practice and by the end I am exhausted.  Today was even better because on the way home our neighbor friend threw up all in our car.  I yanked the car in someone's driveway and let him puke in someone's yard (by the road, of course).  We are now praying that it was just heat/car sickness & not a bug.  Especially since we had chili dogs for supper.

    YUCK!

  • 1st Day - Pt.2

Thanks for all the comments.  Who knew??

The first day of school is always interesting.  I have 4 kids - E7, W6, L4, & S1.  (I like writing in code.)  My struggle is figuring out what to do with all of them together and how to get all of the other stuff in separately.   No easy feat & they all need to be fed, too.  Speaking of feeding - we're having snack time now & fights are erupting.

    More later!

  • 1st Day Pt.1

Well.... today we started school.  It lasted about 2 hours.  However, it started with cramps and a teething, feverish dfdfdgtgfgdgdgfgfhgfgfgfhfhn

By 8:45 (we started at 8:30) I was almost in tears.  Sam (20 months old) is not going to cooperate with vghvgthis sit-down and listen business.  Levi (almost 5) has no interest in learning his letters.  Should I be worried?  I even gave him free reign with the scissors and glue.  Not interested.  bbhbh - added by needy child
