I AM HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!!

SOOOOOOOO much has been going on lately. i don't even know where to start. so, i will back track to the beginning of school and give you a very brief summary of my life up to this mornings lovely email.

-first days of school are nutzo. period. there is no training that could have prepared me for it. the kids and i all made it through alive, i learned SO much for next year, and we're all falling into a routine now.

-i have some crazies on my class. they are quite funny when i take a step back and take time to laugh...but in the moment , having a little girl tell me "miss collins, i was ignoring you because i was talking to someone else" was not funny.

-23rd birthdays are overrated. i was so exhausted from school for the week that on my actual birthday, i made it out for dinner and a drink with carrie, christine, and nate....and then came back, put on sweats, and was asleep my midnight. so much for going out and getting loud!

-i love my coworkers....still. they are fabulous and unique and all bring something special to the table (that table happens to be in the shape of a kidney bean, but that's neither here nor there.........and only teachers will understand that i think).

-i love my "job." while it drives me bonkers somedays...i LOVE it. i'm having a great time, i'm learning so much, and i love love love my life currently.

-i get to see gwen friday!!!! that fool is getting her booty to columbus and we're going out on the town this weekend. i miss her so much.

-and the grand finale..........

I JUST GOT MY FIRST REAL PAYCHECK!!!!!!!

i feel like a grownup and i don't feel broke and it rawks.
