Poor me...

Two things on my mind today...

1)  Happiest of birthday wishes to my sister who turns 50 today!  I'm glad she goes through that portal before me.  Its SO scary.

2)  I cannot believe I missed "Talk Like a Pirate Day."  Was so looking forward to it this year, and I forgot to check what the actual date was.  Very bummeriscious.

My mom and dad's "stuff" is all safe and sound in a storage unit.  The truck came today.  Everytime I visit my dad he asks immediately where the dogs are, and where his Starbucks coffee is.  If coffee and pups make him happy in his old age, well then its the least I can do to oblige him!

Its been SO long since I've posted.  Frazzled is the one word that best describes the past month.  To sum it up -- I've spent the last month making arrangements to move my parents (who live about an hour from each other in Colorado) here to Indiana.  My mom has changed her mind 3 times, but thankfully she didn't cave at the last minute; however, she did get put in the hospital at the last minute!  So I went out to pack up her apartment, and moved my dad here.  I'll have to go back and get my mom sometime within the next few weeks.  I was SO blessed to have my cousin and her hubby with me.  I could not have done it myself.

Went on a women's retreat to a B&B in Brown county this past weekend.  Made a lot of new friends, and its always great to be able to spend some quality time with the Lord.  Its so cool to have sisters in Christ who are genuine - the real thing.

Sarah - great pics!  Wouldn't it be fun to take our hubbies there for the weekend sometime?  BTW... we need to finish our conversation.  Read/use Matthew 18:24-35!
