Happy anniversary to me! It has been 1 year exactly since I made the big move to the windy city. So many things have happened yet, it seems just like it was yesterday that I was living in Dan's living room playing with Whitey.  Ah, the good ol' days. As the new year begins, I start my ritual brainstorming of 2006 highlights and think of some important goals for 2007. Last year was full of travel: Lake Tahoe, Costa Rica, NYC, VA, NYC, VA, NYC, VA! LOL. It seems like I'm in NYC and VA all the time but I'm not. I realized that I should actually visit there more often and I'm making it a goal to do so in 2007. Afterall, when I go over to the east coast, I see tons of friends and family but when they come to Chicago, they only see ME!!! (oh and maybe sung park?  ) I have so many reasons to go visit and so I should and will. Who cares if I go broke. I'm sick of flying but that won't stop me. Here's to traveling more than ever in 2007!! (Breckenridge in 3 weeks! WOOOoo!) Thank you so much to all of you who have come out to visit me throughout the year (some more than once!!). I really don't know what I would have done without you guys. I love you! There is also some personal and emotional growth that I want to take place this year (as should everyone) but I won't get into that. Most of you already know about my issues. Pray for me!  Oh, I also want to pay off credit cards and lose weight but those are too easy.  I can't wait to see what this new year will bring all of us. Tons of happiness and celebrating and no sadness or tears hopefully (especially since Jenn cries way too much as it is - I already shed some tears writing this entry!!! sniff sniff). Heres to a happy, exciting, productive, and healthy 2007!!! |
