Set up a merch table at the show in Jhb last night to promote the store, was pretty rad.. made some good extra cash and got a few people stoked to come check it out.. the show was also really cool.. tho i don't really dig being at Tempos.. its jocks and kids.. but it's all good.. alot of punkers usually so thats cool for merch sales..

Off to Cape Town for 2 weeks tomorrow, should be good fun.. good to have a bit of a holiday.. also we're trying to save up to go to London in September to watch the final Stray Cats tour.. should be getting our tickets next week.. can't wait.. were ganna be eating crumbs for the next few months, but it'll be worth it!!

On Sunday we went to a vegan restaurant called Earth 2 in JHB. Andy had the "chicken" mayo sand wedge and i had the "chicken" ala King.. it was pretty good.. the place isn't really done up too nicely, but the food speaks for its self.. check the menu out on www.earth2.co.za. Apparently theres another one called Fruits and Roots I still wanna try.. thats next..

Last night we went for drinks with Ryan, quite a cool place outside next to a fountain type thing, it was nice and cool.. had a great cocktail too.. perfect for summer nights, afterwards Andy and I went to go watch 1408, was pretty cool.. we were the only ones in the cinema.. so that made it cooler.. way over salted the popcorn so i still feel like my cheeks are crinkled.. was good though!

Leaving for Cape Town on 3rd til 15, can't wait!! We haven't had a holiday yet, so it's going to be good to get away. Plus we booked some work at Tylers new store, can't wait to check it out!

Last night bobby popped around with a bottle of wine.. then we decided we didn't really feel like going out and spending money. So we opened up the liquor cupboard, put them on the counter and mixed some drinks and had a party.. just the 3 of us..

it was awesome.. bob and i made jello shots, with 3/4 cup water 1 cup vodka.. not sure how you're meant to make it, but it came out super cool.. though the shock of the vodka taste was extreme.. oh man tasted like eating jelly made of straight up vodka.. argh.. think it turned me off vodka for a while.. it was good fun.. had to mop and clean up the place this morning.. drips of sticky pink all over.. haha!!

We also watched Blades of Glory. oh man.. what the hell..

Was watching something on Sweeny Todd last night, man i can't wait to see it.. starts here on 22 Feb! Its ganna be awesome, definitely one to add in my Johnny Depp collection, next to Edward Scissorhands..
with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, you just can't go wrong!

Woah, had such a shock last night. Got a call from my brother saying that my dad was in hospital, because he went all pale, couldn't really breath or talk and had really bad chest pains. Luckily though he is alright now and resting, but man how scary, specially cos i didn't know what was going on and had to phone all the time. But apparently it wasn't heart related, so thats good.

Apparently its an ulcer, and also the stress due to a fact that a youngish friend of his from work had the same kind of thing, and the doctor just sent him home and told him to take a panado, and he died the next day. Crazy!

On a lighter side of things.. we went to go watch Henry Rollins on Friday.. oh man, if you missed it, you really missed out. Woah what an awesome guy, and awesome life he has had. Man i was feeling old at 26, but after seeing him at nearly 50, acting all crazy, and getting up to so many things.. just makes me feel like i hope i can be like that all the way til i'm gray and pruney. haha..

Wish there were more older people in this country with the same mind set though, instead of closed minded ignorant FOOOOOOOOOOLS!!

My party was awesome, we rented a pizza oven, got everyone to bring cheese. And i made dough and all the toppings. So we made pizzas for about an hour, then had loads of drinks after. It was good fun, and everyone loved it. Even though it rained and stormed, it worked out perfectly, cos the oven didn't fit into our back garden, so we did it under are car port, and had a table next to it for some of us girls to roll and cut the dough and do toppings.. haha, now we're stuck with 6 blocks of mozerella... and well photots.. when i woke up the next day to check them out, they errored.. so i lost them all.. sucks asssss...
