  • Once upon a time

Once upon a time I used to blog consistently. Revealing my life for anyone to see and generally recording what was going on any given day. That compulsion is no longer one I follow. A number of things have contributed to that but mostly its been the fact my life is less transitional than it was. Reading back over some of it I see the highs and lows experienced at school. How each day hinged on a different test, a different happenstance. How happy a twenty dollar bill could make me. None of that would make me stand up and take notice anymore. Work has become my life. Things like talking to the CIO of the customer or figuring out a creative solution to a problem control my life. So many people made the comment today that I'm a very positive person, probably because I was more positive than most days, and it bothered me. This entire week has pushed me further and further and I think the thought of walking away was more attractive than ever. Still my only tie to this town remains the fact my lease isn't over for a year and maybe its time that it needs to change because lately when I'm lonely I'm really lonely. Blasted hyperactive emotions have always been my undoing.Tomorrow should be fun I'll be doing the company picnic and then trying to get my apartment finished. I miss my past but I don't particurally want to go back to it either... its a quandry. :)

  • This made me very happy

Life moves forward with lots of challenges but I think I can eventually overcome them. I miss having close friends I talked to daily but things got complicated. I'm quite tired at the moment.

  • Little Boys and their Toys

I just realized that they had released a hacked version of my camera's software which means it has the full range of functionality its hardware support. This meant I played with that for the last hour and a half instead of sleeping... oops... but being able to take photo's at 1/10k shutter speed is something I've wanted to do for a long time and it was one of the major reasons I almost didn't get this camera. Yea! for release packs and permission to edit software! Now to get a few more features working at this won't be "beta" anymore. Anyway my SD600 rocks and I wish I'd had this for the fireworks yesterday.

  • Disgusting

I just found underneath my sink of a year and a half an Orange Juice container that was from the last guy here. It was up stuck behind the disposal... don't ask me how but a year and a half is completely disgusting. I really detest packing for my move at this point I have more junk than I know what to do with!

  • I detest nightmares. I just had one about my needing to buy a tractor and interspaced among the imagery were some pretty odd things. Like my going to church and suddenly looking down and realizing I was pantsless. Or my sudden urgent need to go fix that situation I justified by needing to go order the tractor online or how mom magically gave me the keys and called jono on the cell to meet me outside and go with me. Where of course he made quite the sport of me. Ug Ug Ug! My teeth get drilled in T-50 minutes
