  • I'm bringing Xanga back - drop a comment if you're with me!

I did not write that by the way.  :o)

I need to post a blog to be able to keep my xanga account lol.  So that's that.  Nothing new here raising babies.  Trajan and Corbin will be nine in two months, Elyse will turn five in three months, and Lydia will be two in four months.  SO we have a string of birthdays coming up :o).  Our oldest Kelsey is already 10.  I don't know where the years have went?!  So yes Wendy treasure these moments with your little ones.  They will be grown before you know it.

I turned the lovely 30 the 12th of this month.  I was born on my daddy's birthday, his 39th birthday.  So daddy turned 69.  I cannot believe it, he doesn't act or even seem like he's got that many years under his belt.  LOL  My hubby threw me and dad a party, it was wonderful!!!  I didn't feel so "old" surrounded by all my beloved friends and family :o).  THIRTY-SEVEN people were there, awe that was so so awesome!  My man did good!

Well work (with the home business) is calling my name.  :o)  So better get, glad I can keep my xanga account.  *L*

    Turkey Day.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. All of my family was able to be together at dad and mom's house.  We just had a wonderful time.  There was 20 people in all, 10 adults and 10 grandchildren.  My sons wanted to take the Wii, my brothers got hooked on that thing!!!  So funny to watch them.  They both are golf fanatics, so they kept playing Wii golf.  Aaron would beat Terroll, then Terroll would come back and beat Aaron.  Then they have to play again to break the tie.  I think some were nearly half way done eating by the time they finally came to get their plates of food.  I got the chance to sit down and play Euchre with my THREE brothers.  My brother-n-law Duane and I were partners taking on Aaron and Terroll.  We won both games!  They kept getting Euchred!  So funny, it happened at least three times, they'd call it and we end up with the tricks.  Hee hee hee.  So that was so fun.

God is so good to our family.  We have so much to be Thankful for.  The Lord will restore mom's health, and touch her body and heal her!  We are keeping mom lifted up in prayer, she returns to the doctor in two weeks to see what treatment, if any, she needs to begin.  This is round three with breast cancer, she's beat it twice.  PTL for healing her a third time!

Aaron and his family will not be able to join us for Christmas.  But I'm already looking forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus with the rest of the family.  I'm sure you are looking forward to it too Wendy.....ohhh and WES too.  My goodness he's not been home for Christmas for 6 years??  Wow!
What a move you have to face!  You'll be in my thoughts and prayers....that would be hard to leave the work for the kingdom and loved ones behind.  PTL for technology, you will be able to keep in touch still.  Right?

Well tootles for now!  Lunch time is upon us now.  God Bless and hope to see you very soon!

I’ve been tagged!  From Lisa's xanga!

Rules: After posting these rules, each player proceeds to list 8 relatively random facts/habits about himself/herself. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, leaving them a comment on their blogs to let them know.

    8.   A lot of times when I'm reading if I come to a word/name I cannot pronounce I'll make up a word to remember what/who the story is talking about.  LOL  A bad habit I still have from elementary!

    7.  When I was a kid I was riding my bike really fast home because I had to go potty.  Well my shoe string wrapped around my peddle of my bicycle and I crashed and wet my pants.  Needless to say I was crying and embarrassed all at once.  Then this man who was really attractive and had big muscles helped me.  Got me, my shoe, and my bike home safe.

    6.  I hate it, but I have a habit of bitting my nails.

    5.  I make pretty mean chicken fettuccine. From scratch, ewe not that store bought stuff.

    4.  Growing up I always wanted five children, be careful what you wish for.  I now have five children.

    3.  Kissed a boy in the playground tires when I was five.

    2.  I can make my tounge look zig-zag.

    1.  I have a weird hang up.  If I feel I've left a bad impression on someone, I cannot bring myself to look in the mirror.  Like my stomach turns at the thought of looking in the mirror because I a little bit foolish.  It's such a silly thing!  I laugh at myself, but in the middle of it, it is a terrible feeling.  LOL

I tag Wendy...tell ME something I don't know Gwedleline!  LOL

  • Ah my baby has turned a year old now.  Wednesday, October 3rd Lydia Belle turned ONE!!!  :o(  sob sob my baby is growing up too quick!  DAY BEFORE her birthday she FINALLY decides to take off walking across the living room floor!  She is getting better and better everyday with walking.  So hilarious to watch, she'll be going  along and then bam just stop and wobble wobble catch her balance then wobble wobble some more.  Then usually take off again, sometimes PLOP on her booty she goes and then say "Ohhhhh".  With her little tiny lips all pursed.

Trajan and Corbin, ah my twin second graders.  Boys' flag football season ended on the 11th.  They won ALL eight of their games!!! YEA!!!  Their team did so well, worked together and it paid off.  UNDEFEATED!!  :o)  Daddy of course was their coach, so that was cool.  The last week of October begins their THIRD wrestling season.  They are a handful.  BUT they are READING the bible ALL on their own!!!!  AH so awesome!!!  Very very AWESOME!  This past summer was their first time at Harvest Christian Camp, I can tell it really impacted them!

Kelsey my all grown up 4th grader, started this month doing Kinder-buddies at school.  They get paired up with a kindergartener and on Fridays get 1/2 hour to spend time with their special friend.  Kelsey got a little girl who has some learning disabilities.  Kels loves to make her feel special and just being her friend!
(whispers-it was a sad sad day when I had to go and buy Kels her first bra this month :o( *sob sob* I SHOULDN'T have a child that old!)

Elyse is my sweetie, who now only has four hugs everyday.  :o(  One in the morning and one at night is all she has for each Daddy and Mommy.  Little Miss. Independent!  But she LOVES her 'big girl bed'....no more toddler bed, TWIN bed now.  Her and Lydia play so well together!
Oohhh cute story, just today Elyse was standing in front of me.  I was brushing Elyse's hair and she was having a melt down because mommy was hurting her!!!  So Lydia comes walking/wobbling in from the other room and comes right up to Leesie and hugs her so big and starts patting and rubbing her because Elyse was crying.  Lydia was comforting her!!!  SOOOO Sweet!!!  Lydia was laying her head on Elyse's tummy and hugging her.  SO then all Elyse could do was bust into laughter and forgot all about mommy hurting her hair.  LOL

God has blessed Jeremy with a promotion since I last blogged.  A promotion NINE years in the waiting.  PTL!!!

Me?  Ah umm....gee I dunno.....ummm starving for hubby date time and girl's night out time!!!  So that's about it.  Spend all my time and energy taking care of house and family.  Did start a myspace page this week so I can keep in touch with friends better.  Check it out  myspace.com/marshie_lynnie  <---my daddy's nickname for me.
