| my yearly xanga blog, hehe :)It's been a great year finishing up my bachelor's degree at FGCU and a fun summer full of movies, friends, and trips to see family in New York and to many, many, beaches, lol. Right now I'm getting ready for a trip to California in a couple days to visit my grandma and then will be leaving for grad school when we get back in a couple weeks . It'll be quite an adjustment for me living in Tampa but I'm anxious to see what God has in store for me on this new adventure in my life . Well, that's all for now. Until next year ~ Jessica | | |
| So yeah, it's been a while...lol. Between going to the beach and painting the inside of our house, I am covered in a interesting mixture of paint and mosquito bites--I would post a pic, but it wouldn't be pretty .
Anyways, time is starting to fly by as school approaches, so hopefully we will get everything finished before then. Well, gotta run~jessica | | |

What I dream about when I'm in school: summer (or any sort of time off school, lol)!"
What I dream about once I've been on summer break for almost 2 months: school to start back up (kind of )
Well, good bye blog world--I've got to go read a good book or something before my summer slips away, lol.

| What a week! So my first couple weeks off of school have been quite interesting to say the least.
Last Saturday, we got a call from our miami family saying that our great-grandmother (who turned 91 in November!) had taken a turn for the worse
Fortunately, my mom and I were able to spend some quality time with her on Wednesday and hurry back for a job interview the next morning, and an amazing graduation the next evening (Congratulations Mom on earning your Associate of Arts Degree with Honors .
What a great blessing it was to spend those few minutes with a woman of such incredible faith, love, and strength on her deathbed.
When we found out yesterday that she had passed away in the early morning hours, we were both saddened by our loss but relieved that she would no longer be in pain. We hurried down to Miami for the second time in one week--this time for a funeral.
Today we returned, emotionally and physically exhausted but confident that our loss is heaven's gain.
Bye For Now,
Jessica
