School School School

It's hard to believe that tomorrow I'm going to be attending class... and working. The summer has flown by once again. I'm looking forward to my last year of school at GVSU. I think that the best has yet to come.

This summer was a great one, I'd say. I got to spend time with friends/family/Cori Lee, and although it seems as if the time gets less and less with each passing year, I'm thankful for the time I did have.

I'm going to continue working at Gordon Foods throughout the school year and for that... I am glad. It seems to be a wonderful place to work.

I wish I could sleep. Morning will come sooner than I would like to think.

My hope is that everyone had a fantastic summer.

Night... RY

I could get used to 70 degrees...

Thursday, January 26, 2006

WOW- Talk about sunshine. I'm going to be in class the rest of the day... but I don't mind all too much. I'm skeptical of the sun and shine anyways. I mean- it looks really nice right? But it's freezing cold. hmmm

My parents have been talking about getting a new dog... one that they can spoil, feed to a plump, and talk to. For real, what is going to Ryan's house to play pool unless there's an annoying little dog running all around. Even still, I think I'm ready for a new dog too. I love taking them for walks down to the park and for swims. What kind of dog should we get? We can't get another chocolate lab because I don't want to compare our next dog to Hershey.

I'm going to the Presidents Ball dance at GVSU with Cori in a couple weeks. I think it'll be a blast. The theme this year is "The Roaring 20s." How fun is that? I wanna dress up for the theme... I think. It'll make it fun. I can't wait.   I wish I would have gone to more high school dances. Now I can make up for it a little bit though and as a bonus, I get to take a girl that I'm head over heals in love with...

So far, this has been my busiest semester of my college career. Can anyone else say the same? Speaking of... I better get reading.

Enjoy the sun even though it's still cold out,

Here goes... another semester!

SEMESTER #6- Isn't it crazy to think about it like this?

So far I'm having a pretty good day back. The weekend was WAY low key and now I'm ready to rock. My Mom is so sweet... she packed me a little goodie bag for my 1st day back to school with a really nice card taped to the front of it. I opened it up and it was a thank-you card. I'm thinking... what the heck? But she was thanking me for being me. How often does something like that happen. It brightened my day.

The first week of the semester is always nice. I don't have a TON to do and it's exciting to meet new people and try to predict the difficulty levels of my class. It's less fun at the end of the semester when I'm thinking... schist- my prediction was a little off. Naw...that never happens

Did anyone notice how nice it is today. I always look forward to seeing a glimpse of sun once in a while. The way I see it- if it isn't going to snow- I want warmth/sunshine/beach.

Enjoy the day,

                                  Ryan
