Hey Everyone!

Well I'm taking a second to breathe and to do a little updating of the xanga. So how's life, in a word Busy! But in all reality if I wasn't busy I'd be bored. So what's new, hmm well I got new contacts, which is actually pretty exciting, bad news I couldn't get them out last night so today I went to the Vision Center at Walmart and they helped me out! LOL! They're good ppl! Went home yesterday because I had to talk to this doc, just so he could tell me I'm all good, I was kinda mad I wasted a day, but it was good to be home and chill even if it was only for a day. I think my parents are really bored with out us around, LOL. I got a mini intership at Newark Naz and I get to work with the new excutive pastor up there, and I think it'll be a lot of fun. Way behind in Worship so they'll be some major craming Thursday before the test. Hmm CoSMO's going good. I'm going to Baton Rouge, LA for fall break very excited about that. My apartments doing good even though we hardly get to see each other. Life's pretty good. Stressful of course, we are in college. But it's good. Well that was a nice breath now I'm off to another meeting. Peace out all!

Hey Everyone!

I know I know, I haven't updated in forever.Hmm where do I begin. Well first of all I have a rather interesting summer. The job at the Meijer Distribution Center wasn't very glamourus and it was certainly hard work, but in the end I kinda want to go back in a weird sort of way even though the boxes and me got into a lot of fight, the boxes usually won. But the people there are so interesting. It was a completely different world there and I liked being out of my comfort zone.

My car finally died! It was a good little crapy first car, I was sorta hoping it'd last me one more year but God provided another car that is actually dependable to the relief of my parents and friends. If ever anyone wants a ride let me know. The sad thing is now I have to become a good driver because I can't blame my bad driving habits on my car, oh well it was fun while it lasted!

School has started again and well it's going to be a hard semester, but things are falling into place. Life is always going to be crazy but I'd be bored if I wasn't as busy as I was, I'd just set around and watch cable all day. LOL.

My aim somehow got disconnected from my computer, but I have come to the realization that I really don't miss it all that much. I might still get on from time to time, but I have found the whole thing to be somewhat mind numbing and useless. So if you ever want to talk with me give me a call or come over, face to face communication or even over the phone communication is better than im.

So far I like our apartment. We haven't had any major wars yet so that's good, well at least after we got the furniture arrange in a way we all agreed on. We still need to decorate, but we have a plan of what we want, it's the actually decorating that's the hard part. But we have a cool lamp and some cool flowers, Cali lilies that happen to be my favorite flowers, thanks to Andrea that gives the room a bit of pizzaz until we actually decorate.

Hey Everyone!!!

Ok Ok I'm updating I'm updating! So how is everyone doing? Lots has gone on over the past couple of weeks so here's a summary.

-JTI (Junior Teen Institute) it was better than expected, transition from youth to adult staff was kinda weird, but I had the best family group that I'd ever had. This kid Caleb was such a sweet little guy, he said something like "You're a christian? So am I!!" It gave me hope you know for the next generation and all.

-Liz's graduation_ Note to self, never paint the living room and hallway the same week you're preparing for a grad party! My sis made me proud. Looking forward to her coming up to the Naz next year! It was fun seeing all the family from out of state, and seeing old friends that I haven't seen since last year.

-It's been fun catching up with old friends but it's weird as well cause some of us are on different levels than we were last year...etc.

-District Assembly was interesting, I think the Nazarene church is starting to wake about really reaching our communities and getting our churches fired up for God. Steph's group, One Accord, did a great job for their first time, and it was good to see Tom West too.

-I finally found a job! Praise the Lord! At the Meijer Distribution Center. It's going to be hard work! But I can do it!Good hours and good pay. I'm excited cause I hate doing nothing and it's been boring around here!!

-Chas is in Chicago. Planning on meeting he and the rest of the family in July. He's loving it there, even though my Mom says his apartment smells like rotten catalop and mold... but you know.

- My relationship with God has been interesting. God's been sorta taken me back to the basics. Last night I was listening to this old song that we sang in YS. The chorus goes something like "God is God and I am not, I can only see a part, of the picture He's painting, God is God and I am man, I will never understand it all, cause only God is God" God IS GOD, so why don't we treat Him that way? Why do we always put Him into this box? Well at least I do sometimes. But God will not be kept in a box. He wants to empower you! He wants to empower the church. He's fighting for you. So it's about time we start acting like it. So I just encourage you really to let God make a break through  in your life this summer. And let God's radient beam shine through you. Another thing is God  has given me these little gifts of love so to speak and I never really realized them as much . I got this out of Captivating, when Stasi is talking about how God gave her the love gift of starfish that one day. Basically these little gifts He's given me, well one for instance was last night I was looking into a row of pine trees and there were lighting bugs surrounding these pine trees just liting them on fire, and it just made me smile. It made me think how simple. God gave me that simple little gift just to say "hey, I'm here in these pine trees Julianne, this is a gift for you, I love you I treasure you." And it just made me feel comforted, not alone. It was really just a simple thing, but it's what I needed at taht moment. Just to smile and know that God loves me. So I encourage you, to not to be busy to see God's love gifts to you!

-I'm goign to the Naz this weekend for freshman orientation! LOL! My sis is going. I can't wait, because I miss it there a lot. And I can't wait to see some people at least. So that'll be good times. Staying with Steph and Lindsay which I'm sure will be good times!

Hey Everyone,

So I had an awesome weekend! Friday night Andrea, Steph and I ordered pizza and watch Phatom of the Opera, awesome movie, it was fun it just being the three of us cause we haven't hung out together in forever, then Saturday I got to wake up crazy early to drive to Lima for this ministerial studies board thing, it was sorta a waste of time, but I'm glad I went cause it was very encouraging! Oh by the way Godfather's pizza is really good. Sat. night Lindz, Steph, Steph O. and I had a girl's nite  out on the town. If was fun hanging  out with girl, nothing against my guy friends, but sometimes... it's good to a girl... So we went to Texas Road House, which is one of my favorite resturants, and the waitress was like what high school did u graduate from, and I was like Milton-Union, yeah this girl defiently was from my hs, which is crazy cause milton is crazy small. Anyway it was good times, then we went walking around the mall and did some crazy things which will remained to be disclosed. LOL. The we went to cold stone for ice cream the cake batter ice cream really taste like cake batter, I thought it was going to be gross, but it really wasn't! On our way back we made an unplanned stop at the West's house. Tom and Tara are awesome people! Went to Newark Naz on Sunday, I'm going to miss that place this summer. So when we got back and were eating lunch, Laura Lynn was like Julianne what kind of car do u drive, and I said mercuy topaz, and she was like u have a flat tire wanna see I took a pic of it!! LOL I really need to get a new car this summer!!! Anyway thanks so much Matt, Andy, and Ramiz for helping me change my tire!! You guys are awesome!!! Then I went to the Apple Valley new church plant with Zach, Izzy, and Sarah. It was really cool, I hope that God uses this church to do amazing things for Apple Valley. So all in all it was a good weekend. I can't believe it's finals week!! I'm ready for school to be over!!! It's going to be weird not seeing everyone!! Well good luck to everyone on their finals!!!
