Christmas Decorations?I have grown so accustomed to the calendar as to realize that Christmas does in fact come after Thanksgiving!!! This is so cool...I don't get me wrong...I love me some Thanksgiving...but Christmas is awesome!!!!!!!!! I do have one complaint...CAN WE PLEASE CELEBRATE THEM IN ORDER...PLEASE!!! I find myself so confused about this time of year because I am excited about Thanksgiving and seeing family and eating (my fav), but when I see Christmas trees, and lights, and other Christmas memorabilia set up, my mind tends to wander off into the land of the swirly twirly gum drops...and then on to candy cane lane...I don't know what to do!
So here is my question...can we please separate Thanksgiving and Christmas into two separate holidays. Let's wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas. I love Christmas just as much as the next guy...but please...if we need to extend the Christmas season...how about we keep up our decorations after Christmas. I would greatly appreciate it.

| ? Well hello my friends. this week is my fall break...but it isn't much of a break since I am working all week long. But it will be nice to get that check at the end of the week. I am so excited about our trip to passion and to see what God is going to do with all of our lives. God is so goods and I know that He will meet us in an awesome way.

| SchoolIf you don't think that my title for this little excerpt of a post is exciting then get over it because it really is!!!! I am so not a scholastic person. I think that studying gives me HERNIAS! Ok not really but I hate to study. Some may say "well you are in Bible College and you should be excited to study". I am excited to learn and grow closer to God it is just the studying and reading of the text books that gets me... So why should this post be exciting for anyone? It is because I really feel God urging me and leading me to take my schooling more seriously and to a newer, deeper, and more personal level. It is because of this that I can say that I am actually excited to get off of here and go study! So...bye | | |
| So far yet to goI am at a loss for words to describe the infinite glory and awesomeness of the Almighty God.
I do not mean to come here and post some very wordy post about all that
God is doing in my life. Why? I am in a spiritual lull
right now. Though this may seem as a contradiction to the
aforementioned might of God it is not and here is why. I can see
God moving in so many different ways in my life. I see how He has
allowed me to have an amazing summer working with teeneagers at albc
and how He has worked things out for me to room with matt.
perhaps the most amazing experience came this past week as jessica and
myself substituted in a evening children's class this past sunday
night. we were asked to essentially babysit these kids for a
couple of hours so that the parents could go to evening service.
however, what took place there, in our substitutory role, was
monumental 5 KIDS ACCEPTED THE LORD JESUS CHRIST INTO THEIR HEARTS AND
THEIR ETERNAL DESTINY WILL FOREVER BE CHANGE!!!!
my daily walk with God has dwindled to a crawl, yet He continues to
make my cup overfloweth with blessings. why is God so faithful
when i am so unfaithful, which is not to say that i am without faith,
but merely to say that i do not walk with Him as i should.
Lord forgive me of my unwillingness to run and pursue after you. thank you Jesus for what you have done for me!

| What can I say other than God is so good to me! It is so weird how I struggle with things because I want to hold onto them. Since I refuse to let God have control evertything gets worked out and load of indescribable enormity is taken off of my shoulders. How great it is to stand on God's promise and see and feel Him delivering! Such is the case with Jessica and I getting married.
I am so super excited about the lives of all of our friends being yoked together with one accord under God's grace and to His glory. It has been difficult for her and I to see evertyone getting married and we are unable to. BUT, (isn't this such a cool word? I especially love it when Paul uses it to describe the condemnation of all men with such horrible punishment then all of the sudden BUT GOD! Wow! I want to live my life's testimony to be summed up with BUT GOD...) we finally gave it to Him and I now have such a peace about the situation. God is so good...God is so good...God is so good...He's so good to me!!!!
Other than that I hope all of you have an excellent day and an incredible weekend. I can't wait to see you all tonight, which I feel God is going to do something really awesome!!!
