| It appears all my friends and associates more or less have abandoned this blogging fad that was wild in high school and throughout college. It's early in the morning (or late at nigh however you want to put this) and I got MLK day off. (Thank god for MLK!)
Random Thoughs:
Cloverfield - Gave me motion sickness otherwise enjoyable. Not getting into details here because I hate it when a movie gets ruined by reading what someone wrote about it. (Like the time this dude was talking about fight club and how brad pitt relates to ed norton) Wild tangents!
I'm a sucker for sappy stories and I took the bait. 2 thumbs up. 2 buckets of puke for jittery camera though.
Writers Strike - I hope the writers get a fair deal. Media companies really fuck them over and don't compensate them fairly for their work. I'm missing out on my Office and Lost but these folks gotta do what they gotta do.
The Economy - I thought 6 months ago in the summer that we were totally fucked. I don't think I was wrong. Bunch of day traders fucking around during the summer when everyone was on vacation, now people pay for it. Rob Peter to pay Paul. Thats how it works folks! Zero sum game here.
Giants / Packers - I was stunned. I was rooting for Favre to make one last come back. One last push to end his career a superbowl champ. I thought he had something left, especially how this year played out. I think anyone watching the game and everyone in G.B. can see what I see, Favre is done. Finished. Mans got nothing left.
Roy Jones / Trinidad - I'd like to see a taping of this fight. Read that its vintage Roy Jones, the one we know and love. Tito needs to retire and stay retired or fight someone his weight class. Jones came in chiseled and Tito just looked flabby.
