on a lighter note:
our beloved sister, vera novak (noona), ran in the torchlight parade
marathon last weekend. there was the 8k (5+ miles) and then you
had your 5k (3+ miles), which is what she opted to go for. as you
can see, she dominated the competition and added one more notch onto
her marathon belt. congrizzles to you vera noona!! woot

| CCC is hosting a garage sale/block party june 11th (sat.). if you
have any barely used merchandise (sporting goods, furniture,
electronics, etc.) and you can't seem to find an excuse for getting rid
of it, hook a brotha up! i will be more than happy to take that
stuff off of your hands and plus, you will have the peace of mind
knowing that it's going to a charitable cause. =)
or if you're on the lookout for some used items, but ebay isn't being
of any assistance, come down to federal way on the 11th and check out
our huge inventory. you never know what you'll find.
we, Compass Christian Center, are in the process of our 'church launch'
phase and this is just a small way of promoting our vision of a gospel
community. there's gonna be food, music, an obstacle course, and
even one of those inflatable playgrounds for the kids. there is
going to be a VBS sign up booth as well.
all of us at CCC are very excited to see what God has in store for the
federal way area. just in the past 2 months, there has been such
positive feedback from the surrounding community. our body of
Christ is trying to get these lost souls into believing that God has a
plan and a purpose for all of our lives.
