The church's pastor slowly stood up,walked over to the pulpit and before he  gave his sermon for the evening ,briefly introduced a guest Minister who was in the congregation that evening. In the introduction, the pastor told the congregation that the guest Minister was one of his dearest childhood friends and that he wanted him to have a few moments to greet the church and share whatever he felt would be appropriate for the service.    With that,an elderly man stepped up to the pulpit and began to speak........ "A father ,his son, and a friend of his son were sailing off the coast,"he began,"when a fast approaching storm blocked any attempt to get back to shore. The waves were so high, that even though the father was an experienced sailor,he could not keep the boat upright! The three were swept into the ocean as the boat capsized."       The old man hesitated for a moment, making eye contact with two teenagers, who were, for the first time since the service began, looking somewhat interested in his story.      The aged minister continued with his story."Grabbing a rescue line, the father had to make the most excruciating decision of his life:To which boy would he throw the other end of the life line?He only had seconds to make the decision."         "The father knew that his son was a christian, and he also knew that his son's friend was not.The agony of his decision could not be matched by the torrent of waves."       "As the father yelled out,"I LOVE YOU ,SON!!!he threw out the lifeline to his son's friend.By the time the father had pulled the friend back to the capsized boat, his son had disappeared beneath the raging swells into the black of the night. His body was never found.        By this time, the two teenagers were sitting up straight in the pew, anxiously awaiting the next words to come out of the old man's mouth. The old man continued. "The father knew his son would step into eternity with JESUS,and he could not bear the thought of his son's friend stepping into an eternity without Jesus. Therefore,he sacrificed his son to save the son's friend."         "How great is the love of God that he should do the same for us!Our heavenly father sacrificed his only begotted son that we could be saved. PRAISE GOD!!!!!I urge you to accept his offer to rescue you and take hold of the life line he is throwing out to you in this service."         With that, the old man turned and sat back down in his chair as silence filled the room.      The pastor again walked slowly to the pulpit and delivered a brief sermon with an invitation at the end. However,no one responded to the appeal.Within minutes after the service had ended, the two teenagers were at the old man's side."that was a nice story,"politely stated one of the boys,"but i don't think it was very realistic for a father to give up his only son's life in hope's that the other boy would become a christian."           "Well, you've got a point there,"the old man replied, glancing down at his worn bible. A big smile then broadened his narrow face as he once again looked at the boys and said,"It sure isn't very realistic,is it? But i'm standing here today to tell you that the story gives me a glimpse of what it must have been like for God to give up his son for me.                       You see, i was that father and your pastor was my son's friend!!                                      THANK YOU GOD !!!!!!            (True story)

Hello everyone. I hope all that is reading this is in good health and spirits. If God is speaking to your spirit and asking you to do something then you should by all means do it. He will reward you for being obedient. He has you do things for a reason that we may never know until we get to Heaven. He recently had me do something that i thought i would never do in a million years but once i did it, I had such a peace about me.I am so glad that i was obedient. You just have to trust in the Lord. He knows what he's doing and all things work for the good of God. Blessed are those who trust in the Lord........They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water .Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought.Their leaves stay green, and they go right on producing delicious fruit..........Jeremiah17:7-8

Did you know that Jesus is coming soon? I heard a preacher say today on television that God showed him that Jesus was coming soon.  People don't preach on the return of Jesus much anymore. You might say, I have heard that all my life and he isn't here yet. But he said that he was coming back the same way that he left here, in the clouds, and he will come back whether you believe it or not. I had a dream when I was twelve years of age. In this dream I saw Jesus through a window, and when I looked into his eyes a flash of light or power hit me and I was filled with the Holy Spirit and it was like floods of water went  over me, and other tongues flowed out of me. I began to run and say Jesus is coming  over and over. You may not believe that Jesus is even coming again for his people. Here is a scripture that tells about his return. There are many in the Bible, but I don't have room to write them all down here.In 1 Thessalonians 4: 14-18 it says For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

This is nothing to fear,  just love and serve Jesus and be looking for him. Because he is coming back sometime, we have his word on it.
