hey there.

man oh man it's been way to long.

sorry about that guys things have gotten kind of chaotic here.

lame excuse i know but it lasts just the same. :)

finals are coming up quickly with the summer and i am anxiously anticipating this new time of year, season, and life.

there are a lot of classes and assignments rapping up, events to coordinate at the ending of the year, and just general stuff to be taken care of.

people are getting antsy to be home and taking care of business and the final stresses of the semester are getting to the best of us.

Milligan is great... but i think that we are all ready for a break.

Christian is running a marathon in Nashville this weekend. Sub 7 coffee house is going down tonight at 8\9pm. The Comedy of Errors has a showing today and tomorrow. and i have 3 essays\ papers and a presentation due next week on top of final studying, classes, and normal assignments. Yeah life.

it's been a couple of days so here is an update!!!

life is good.

Kayla is amazing... she is a freshman here at milligan and for those of you who havent yet had the pleasure of meeting her... i'm sure that you will. not only is she just a really great outgoing girl.. she is your sophmore class president for next year as well as a peer mentor. you will love her like I do. :) lol

welll anyhow today there was no humantities... we were supposed to use the class time to work on our projects that are due at the end of the week. and kayla is also working on her photography class project so basically she is taking a lot of picures :) and i got to help today so that was nice.

milligan college rocks my socks off and i hope to see you all at connections weekend!!!

i know we are all excited to have you here. :)
oh and i watched august rush... again... and again and i plan to watch it again... lol last night me and the girls.. kayla, casey, and sidney watched it together after we got some coffee over at starbucks@!!! yeah for new cups and their new Pike blend coffee.. yeah i am an addict. :)

but other than that there isnt a whole lot going on.. i went to the softball ladies double header yesterday.. (1pm and 3pm) they split the games and my girl Sidney has officially pitched 29 innings in 2 days and i am so proud of her!! they have another game today and then one more on saturday before they play USA on Sunday!! woot to that! oh and just so you  know the best place to watch these games is from the roof of the baseball/ softball fieldhouse b/c of the super vantage point :) oh and it was about 75-81 yesterday.. so that just made it about a million times better b/c i love baseball and softball seasons... so much fun.

the boys had a soccer game as well last night at 6:30pm... they played ETSU... so that was fun as well. the boys did a good job and are looking forward to two more games this saturday.

so woot to sports and milligan pride!!! do much love there :) but i have to go...

another beautiful day here at milligan

last night was loads of fun. talked to my friend kayla for tons of time.the two of us went and got some coffee before heading over to our Wonderful Wednesday Committee meeting. get excited... the wonderful day of no classes is soon to be arriving :) yeah for that.

after that kayla and i put on some comfy clothes and walked around milligan for a while. we did a bit of a random loop b.c i was trying to aviod too much gravel... i'd taken off my shoes (the world just seems so much better barefoot)... we walked around the baseball and softball fields for a bit. sat in the dugouts and talked and then eventually walked back up the hill :0

i then preceded to be a very silly kid that stayed up way to late rereading her favorite book and then writing a quick short story

got up this morning and went to humanities and old testament before heading over to the admissions office for work study. that lasted until about 1 when i headed up to lunch and got to hang out with some friends before i changes out of the dress i had been wearing all day.

i then went to starbucks, came back, and ended up at work.

i get off around 6 for dinner.. come back from 7-8:30 and then i think that i am going to the well with some of the girls. yeah life.

that's just about it.

i'm still working on that humanities project of mine...

maybe when i'm finished i'll load pictures of it online.
