  • EarthTome

    I try to sleep, but still the whisper
    Of the earth assails my senses
    As a fiery ring, dynamic;
    Searing into my perception.
    Time moves on, alike, yet moving;
    Circles, like the orbs of fire
    Blazing in the midnight heaven,
    Hone and keen my soul's desire
    To, in sleep, unveil the sleeping
    Earth, and revel in her hidden
    Life. She bears the crown of knowledge
    For each man who comes unbidden
    To her library of wonder.
    Molded, fashioned in her image,
    Revelation still awakens
    While the seekers view her visage.
