Congratulations to Rachel Kunce, Kathy Formella, Alex Herrera, Steven Gilbert, and Sam Sowle for making the 2005-2006 KC Metro All-District Choir.  There were more people that auditioned this year (from all of the schools) than in many years past, making it that much more difficult to achieve this honor.

Sorry for making everyone wait so long to find this out.  Sometimes a computer just needs a good kick to get working...

Hey all --

Just a brief update...I haven't heard anything final yet about district choir stuff.  The BSHS computer system was having issues when I left on Saturday, so it's probable that their director can't send them to me yet.  I should know tomorrow/Monday.

Hi GHS, past and present --

Hope everyone's summer is going well.  I've been off the chart worthless, thank you very much.

Just thought that I would let as many people as possible know that Ms. Placial (or Mrs. Schmidtlein, depending on your time at GHS) has decided to retire from her piano accompaniment duties at GHS, effective this summer.  As of right now, I am unsure of who her replacement will be.  No matter who it is, we will miss Melodee greatly.  She was, and still is, one of the biggest supporters of the GHS music program, and many times went above and beyond the extent of her job description.

See lots of you in a month -- Rudy

#3 on the list of the worst movies of 2004 from Entertainment Magazine--

3.) Napoleon Dynamite --  The best that could come of such a mocking, laugh-at-the-weirdos doodle is that the Sundance-bred subgenre extinguishes itself after such a boneheaded iteration. The worst that could happen is that, because of its improbable success, Sundance festivals to come will be lousy with shallow laffers featuring middle Americans with bad haircuts.

Just thought I'd share - R

Hey nerdballs—

Choir concert next Monday at 7:00.  All alumni need to be there to sing Hallelujah Chorus with Concert Choir!!  If you want to come early and sing it with us, we’ll run through it at about 6:00.  Hope to see you there.  SPREAD THE WORD!  I want to see a lot of you there!
