Hi Jessi..

Sorry i posted them so late.. I just barely got some time to upload some today. I'll post more later..

Here's our first trip to Disneyland. We got the cheapo season tickets so we can go on random fridays.. so far, Bear has little interest in disney, but loves all things with steering wheels.

Here.. we're actually leaving.. haha.

Bear on the Dumbo ride and then at Mr. Toad's wild ride, he didnt like that one cause it was a little scary.

When we got in, chip or dale greeted Bear.. Bear was a little confused.. i think the whole park confused him.=)

Here he's actually at South coast plaza riding his first carosel, he actually liked it.

Week 1 of being a full time mommy ( still working tho..)

I get woken up by Bear kicking my head, ( he ends up perpendicular to my body and somehow at my face, maybe joe leaves him that way when he goes to work..) then I feed him breakfast with lots of veggies and attempt giving him milk through a sippy cup, which he ends up sipping and then throwing it at the floor. then the rest of the day we either go to Gymboree, go shopping, go to the park or whatever I can do with a 13 month old. The things I can do with him are slowly depleting and now he is gaining control of what we do... which I dont mind becuase its mostly just playing all day =)

I've been carrying my camera with me lately so I've been good with taking pictures.. here's a few.

My law school buddy Jazmine had a baby about 8 mo after me, his name is JJ and he super happy smiley cuddly.. here's the babies with their super cool daddies. And a face shot of Jazmine in the bottom right.

Bear loves the 50cent rides at the mall, my greatest excuse for telling Joe lets go to the mall, unfortunately, I've run out of things to look at for EVERY STORE. Maybe staying at home is just not for me..

At westside they have this game projector thing where you stomp on the ball or whatever and it reacts to your footsteps.. Bear could play for hours..

Bear's first french fry at Barneys Greengrass.. where we saw... Jon Voight ( he was sitting behind Bear) =)

We picked up Nikki from the groomers and Bear walked her home, he is soo gentle with her.. he insisted on walking her, for about a total of 5 feet. =)

We had lunch with the Chois in Glendale.. Bear loved Maxine's dad.

thats about it.. i've just been playing my DS at night, reading books and cooking everything I can with what we have in our pantry and trying to stay resourceful....

I think I buy pretty ridiculous things.. but i have to say this is a bit too extravagant and honestly not that cute. Its like the korean ahjuma with burberry novacheck in different patterns head to toe. haha.

FEndi Baby Bjorn.... not as pretty and the kate spade one with the worm is so much cuter.

a little more ridiculous- $1600 the price of two bugaboos or a 94 used civic.

ok.. so for the more ridicious things..

Dior Pacifier with cover $40. You can buy 20 avent pacifiers.

Dior bottle and FEndi Bottle. $40 each.

I dont know if anyone reads this xanga anymore, but just to make sure I stick by my summer to do list I will list them here.

1. ORGANIZATION, ORGANIZATION, ORGANIZATION. Need to organize my house from top to bottom, from kitchen, to craft closet (yes I have a craft closet), to garage. Deadline August 1st.

2. Spending quality time with my husband. Just finished watching Sex and the City and it made me sorta sad. Coincidentally I had remembered what a wonderful husband I had the night before, watching the movie made me feel guilty for not trying to spend more quality time with the guy.

3. SEW something.

4. Finish my volunteer hours for school.

5. Take a class once a week: either workout, cooking. etc.

6. Be more proactive at work

7. and Life...

I guess Im more busy because I have to watch Bear and actually be a housewife. Its been really fun, but Im not sure if I can stay home all day, its alot of hard work. Props to all the mothers who choose to stay home.

My first mother's day was actually really fun. Joe and I took my mom and dad out to a dodger game in the dugout seats compliments of Joe's company.. even better. I got a handmade card from my boys, I framed it on my desk. I never really thought of mothers day becoming a big deal to me, just a day to give flowers and candy to momma, but it was really special to me this year because I really felt that I did have a transition in my life. I almost feel like a grown up now. =)

Joe is leaving me for three days to go camping with the guys forAaron's bachelor party.. just me and the Bear. I hope I can handle it.

So many things to look forward to.. jo's baby shower, bear's birthday, 4 more weddings, jessica visiting ( hehe.. crossin my fingers =) ), summer vacation.. IM ON SUMMER VACATION!! WOOO HOO.

ok picture time. I just have two.

my mom crocheted a beret looking hat for bear. Its a st johns hat, since she used st john's thread. haha. ANyways I think bear is laughing at how funny he looks in this hat.

My dad claims this is Bear's first time standing, but I think he's done it before with Joe. He definitely likes Joe more since of course I've already assumed the disciplinary role. He's been biting joe and scratching our faces and laughs in our face when we scold him.. I have a feeling he's gonna get sent home from school for all this stuff. What a bubash!

what did we buy? a bunny outfit for easter.

just chillin.. what a weird costume.

Joe and I went on vacation to see our friends Mina and Brian in New York...

we ate alot.. noodles, burgers, pizza, steaks, indian food, falafels, pastrami sandwiches, dessert, seafood, hot dogs, soup dumplings, greek food..etc. you name it we ate it.

At serendipity's .. the frozen hot chocolate was really good..

To end our eating fest..white castle.

Then we headed over to Boston to visit the Garrisons, Jessica and Brian ( different Brian of course)

ate burgers at this really yummy burger place.. where you order burgers by names of political figures.

Seriously we have the best friends. Thanks Mina, Jessi, and the Brians for being such great hosts .. you guys are awesome. Thanks Mina for all the walking around and tour guiding us through crazy New York. Oh and Congrats on the new job!!

On to other hosted events... Cindy and John's wedding! They are kissing.. whoooo

Mrs. Nguyen and a bridesmaid. Unfortunately we dont have too many pictures of the wedding cause this time joe and I were both in it. I have to say.. it was a beautiful wedding and we were proud to be there for the happy couple. Congrats!!

few weeks later.. Bear got a new ride.. no not a new stroller.. a wagon!

decorating project..So the painters came in today at 9 am and they are painting away as we speak. I've been meaning to do so much housework and finally now that I have a job we can decorate our house a little nicer. Although that means less time to actually decorate. Next is getting our bed and some more furniture. I'll try to post before and after pics.

A baby revelation. From all the baby buzz around me, I didnt know so many people wanted girls instead of boys.. whats wrong with boys?? Besides the lack of cute clothes, they're sooo funny! Just seeing Joe with Bear have this male bond already is so great. I secretly wanted a boy as my first child but after I found out it was a boy, I got scared that I would never have a girl. haha... In the end, all you can hope for is a healthy child and I guarantee whatever you have, you will not be dissapointed. Even if I end up having 4 bouncy boys. hehe

Speaking of little funny boys, my friend Daniel came over and brought his crazy camera and took pictures of Bear. Here's a few..

Hello Xanga world.. its so sad.. its been so long but I dont think I have anything fun to xanga about.

exciting news.. hmm.. lets see.

4 of our friends are engaged to be married.

2 are expecting a baby

2 had a baby in the last week

2 dols are coming up.. one of them Bears!

well..I think thats it.

oh! I got ingrown toe nail surgery.. ewww.. actually its more like owww. It hurt more than giving birth. =0) I hope it heals before our trip to mammoth next week. yay.

1. got my name changed.. to Esther Park Lee.. it only took me 1.5 years.

2. went to mommy and me with joe and Bear. Joe thought it was a waste of time. I thought it was really cute.

3. I bought 150+ children's books off ebay for $100.

4. viva las vegas.. twice in one month.

5. online shopping....its become an addiction. We get a package at the door everyday even the UPS guy knows my mom.

6. Judy's wedding next weekend.. can't wait to see $300 centerpieces.. and more importantly the blushing bride!

7. stopped nursing. thinking about eating some tuna w/ a side of guilt.

Maybe its because Bear's pediatrician tells us not to get excited when they weigh Bear and he is like 99 percentile in his weight and height ..or maybe because really I dont like comparing my child.. but seriously.. I dont know why people have to disclose the percentile and weight of their child to me everytime I see them and then ask me what Bear is. My son's name is "Benjamin Bear Lee" NOT "19 pounds and 12 ounces."

Once I went into a store and the grandmother of the owner there looked at my 3 mo old Bear and compared to her 3 month 1 week grandson and started reprimanding the owner because Bear was so much bigger than her grandson. Ok.. it was Koreantown, but still, it was soo wrong. How does being bigger or heavier even make them better? and even if it did, who cares?

Joe's brother Andy, who is a pediatrician says that he spends all day telling little fat kid's parents to stop feeding them cheetos for breakfast. In a world of serious obesity I dont think we should be taking pride in having a heafty child. Children come in all sizes and shapes and should be loved accordingly.

Gosh. I dont know if I do this too, but stop me if you ever catch me do this. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that small people will have small children and large ones will have large children, its called genetics.
