| 6 firefox extensions i can't live without
firefox 3 was released last week. it is the fastest free browser for the pc (safari is still best for the mac). you can install over older versions of firefox without any problems.
it's all about the extensions. :)
1. adblock plus - blocks all web ads.
2. adblock filterset.g updater - updates adblock plus weekly. set it to suppress update messages.
3. quickdrag - drag links to open in new window. amazing.
4. download statusbar - slick download manager.
5. forecastfox - weather updates in your browser window. set display placement to "toolbar-menubar" and specific position: 1 for the cleanest look.
6. fasterfox - speeds up browsing. to install, drag and drop extracted file into firefox add-ons window.
