The Black Hole

Each family has a black hole .... where things constantly get sucked in and dissapear. Some for a few days, others for light years. The latest thing we've found missing is my hubby's earphones.

.....In case anybody finds them in another galaxy somewhere ....

p.s. If anyone can ascertain the general location of black holes, kindly notify. Although many researchers say they are commonly located in the refrigerator ...

I feel like ...

drinking coffee

eating a donut

staring into nothingness

lazing in the cool shade

Darling, I hope you're reading this!!!  (to my disbelief, he is!!! yikes!!!)

And I hope you find your earphones out of our secret 'black-hole'

3 years and 3 months

It's incredible that I've known my husband only for 3 years and 3 months now! There are times I feel I've known him for years .... there are other times I feel I hardly know him .... its rather complicated! Anyway, we went out for a date yesterday, the weather seemed perfect. I requested John to take me to a shop where I bought candy as a kid and then to the park where I ate the candies. By the time we crossed the airport, the sky was overcast. It was a treat to see the giant planes right above our heads, gliding through high vapour.

Halfway to our destination, the skies were completely dark and a gale swished everything around us. It did quieten down a bit by the time we got to the store, but not enough to take a walk in the park. It would seem as foolish as walking in the park past midnight, although it was barely 7 pm. The park is known for teeming with history .... the mogul tombs stand haughtily with decaying stone above the freshness of the green grass. The walks are beautiful .... between the tombs.

Here's a bit of history:

So we decided to drink a cuppa coffee instead of walk in the garden and headed towards Eatopia, a famous joint for families and couples alike. I tried on an Indian version of cinnamon roll called cinnamon bun (exclude all thoughts of sugar) and a fresh fruit sundae. But our real treat was our journey back home. The 17 kms we had to pass were a bliss. It rained! The freshness was incredible. We felt like a Prince and Princess in their royal automobile! (Since our car doesn't have aircon yet, rain and freshness are always welcome. We're waiting for our car to 'grow-up' and develop aircon!!!! Or, maybe we should realistically wait on the Lord to help us get a new car) We talked, sang, dreamt, repented and praised in that journey. (Can anyone imagine a more fruitful journey?!) and thus ended our 3 year and 3 month love affair.

p.s. today is the beginning of 3 year, 3 month and 1 day celebration. Keep adding days on .....

Thank you Lord!
