Hello Randomites and rocky cell phones!

Ok, I know it's been forever since I posted but I've been so busy with work and buying a house that I could post.  Patty and I have finally gotten a house in Picayune.  If all goes according to plan, we close on May 15th...If it doesn't go according to plan, you can find me in the state jail...BECAUSE I MIGHT JUST KILL SOMEONE...::coughes:: sorry, I lost it there for a second.  No one told me that buying a house was so stressful.  I'm just glad the hard part is over with. 

Also, keep Patty in your prayers.  She was admitted to the hospital yesterday because she was dehydrated.  She's feeling better now, but I don't want the bug that caused it to relapse.

Hello Randomites and squeaky manager bottles!!

I know it's been a few thousand years since I posted, but I've been a bit busy.  I sitting at work right now on hold with a freakin' insurance company!!!  GRRR, I just want to reach through the phone and...ummm...so stuff.

Alot has happened since I posted last, unfortunatley, I've slept since then, so I've forgotten most of it.  The main change is that I resigned as youth minister at my church.  They were asking me to do alot more than I could do on part time status and would've required me to be away from my wife some days...that's out of the question.  She has up to this point and always will come before church. 

As for the quote above, I've been on the biggest musical kick and I'm not sure why.  I've been listening to Sweeney Todd, Jekyll and Hyde, and Into the Woods so much lately, I wake up with them stuck in my head.  I love theatre.

I need to get back to work.

Hello Randomites and electric apple screens!

I know it's been forever since I posted, but honestly it's been so busy and I can't get way to post anything.  Things are going splendidly and I couldn't be happier.  I think yesterday was one of the best Sunday's we've had at Goodwater in a while.  My wife sang, the youth presented a drama to music that the Lord used in a great way and He even used me as I preached to the congregation.  I actually had fun at church yesterday...not that I don't always have fun, but it was exceedingly fun yesterday.  I find more joy in doing what God wants me to do (preach, worship, and lead in church) than anything else in my life.  There's really no way to explain it.

As for the quote on this post, I have found Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and I have to say I'm becoming addicted.  I have always heard about the show from theatre friends, but never really listened to the music nor watched the show.  I had a chance two weeks ago to watch it on youtube and have probably watched it almost everyday since then.  I have also seen the trailer for the movie that's coming out with Johnny Depp...how excited am I about that???  I think on a scale of 1-10...it's proably about 45294! 

Anyway, I've probably taken too much of your life away as it is, so I'll just say....

"Back Street's Back..."

Well, it has been awhile since I updated and alot has gone on since then.  Unfortunately, I've slept since I posted so I remember very little.

Patty and I are doing very well and I'm truly loving her more and more everyday.  I've decided to jump on the weight loss band wagon.  I'm doing my pushups and situps, walking to a DVD with Patty and trying to cut back on my eating.  I've gained some serious weight since I started eating my Princess' cooking.  Plus I love to eat, so a combination of that and the delicacies Patty cooks, I'm getting fat.

I'm still loving my job and my church.  I think I've nailed down where we're going this Christmas break and also next summer for our summer trip.  I'm lining up several fund-raisers and trying to get a youth revival scheduled so I'm pretty busy at church.  Work is work!!!  I have to work 6 mandatory overtime hours because our A/R is kinda high.  Oh well, a little more spending money. 

That kinda wraps up my life up to this point.

Hello Randomites and scruffy cheese posts!!!

I have to say that it feels good to have satalite!  After 2.5 week battle with DirectTV, they finally installed it and it's nice to have more than two channels and being able to watch them...not through the snow!!!

Now, all we have to do is figure out if we can get DSL internet through the satalite so Patty can do her school work at home istead of staying after school everyday.  She had to do all of her lesson plans and grading online now.  They will not accept hardcopy plans or grades...how inconvenient is that??? 

In my last post, I posted a picture of myself to show how much weight I've gained.  I've been asked to describe what Patty has been feeding me.  Well, that list is a bit long so I'll show you a typical meal at my home at night.  Bear in mind, This is a quick meal, most meal consist of a bit more.

Here's the main course...

Then she follows up with dessert...She likes to go all out for me on a regular basis, hence the statues...she wants me to feel special!!

So any clue as to why I'm gaining so much weight would be helpful.
