| WrigleyHey y'all. For those of you that haven't heard, I am no longer working for IBLP. I moved into my cousin's apt, downtown Chicago, around the first of June. For the first three weeks I worked for Wrigley at their corporate offices. That was a lot of fun and a really great experience. For those of you that have never been to Chicago, here are some pictures of the Wrigley building.
I am now looking for work again, so if you hear of anything interesting be sure to let me know. ;) I will be in Chicago at least until September. After that I am seriously considering moving back to Colorado or down to Florida. We will see where the Lord leads. Keep in touch. | | |
| REALLYOk, so I really, really need to update. I will just as soon as I can find time. :)

| Colorado Christmas
Ok so 15-hour drives are extremely BORING! Boring
with a capital B! I listened to all my music twice over and still wasn’t home.
I stopped every hour for some reason or another (usually just because I have a
very short attention span and that one hour of sitting in the car is pushing
it!), which obviously didn’t help the time go any faster. Then when I got tired of doing all that I
started to sing to myself at the top of my lungs! (How in the world do you
explain to your family why you are horse when you have been alone for the last 15
hours?) *sigh*
Well, regardless, I had a good time at home. For those
of you that haven’t heard, we got snow.
And I don’t mean we saw a few flakes falling out of the sky – I mean we
got SNOW! Here is a picture in the middle of the first snow. It doesn’t look
like a lot but there was still more to come. The wonderful Colorado wind didn't exactly help either. We had a lot of huge drifts. Our dog, Gyp, loved to run after the snow shovel (the plastic one) and grab it in his teeth. He has a strong jaw and this made it quite hard to throw the snow anywhere. Crazy puppy! :) Yup that is really me in that picture. *tee hee hee* Gyp is the get best thing to have along when you are sledding. You sled down the hill and he will drag it back up for you. :) He does it a lot better and faster then I could too. :)
Oops I have to run. I will have to add more to this a little later.
