| Freshman Year: Part 4April 19: So today was awesome.
I have class scheduled from 8 am to 6 pm. I had no class 8-9, 11-12 and 12-1. Today was also the big Ben and Jerry’s free cone day. That’s right, free ice cream. It also helps that the weather report for today said it was “unseasonably warm.” I think it hit 80. Amazing. So the free cone day started at 12. I waited in line 3 times and got 3 free ice creams. During my 5-10 minute break during calc lecture, I ran over and got another one. In between calc and physics, 1 more. And after physics I got 1. At a small dinner, then got 2 more. That’s right, 8. 8 free ice cream cones. Each a different flavor. It was amazing.
Later that night I played settlers with Larson, Marsh, Chris, and Alan. Chris won by going from 5-10 points in one turn. I refuse to accept that. Afterwards we played some cards, then had some interesting conversation mostly reminiscent of high school physics classes. It was much fun. Just remember, wraps from vending machines may contain fresh lettuce and tomato.

| Freshman Year: Part 3April 13: Today was awesome. Slept in till 1 for the first time in a while. It was great. I had some pizza for lunch, then studied for physics test till 4. The test went very well. Afterwards I just sort of vegged out until dinner. I was going to go to sol’s for dinner, but I was stopped by Erik who was headed towards the Ritz. I decided to join him for the 30 cent wing night. Mikel, Dab Lib, and big Joel were all there. Of course I bought for them with my all debit. Moochers. Anyway, there was some sort of Hawaiian night. By buying wings for everyone, I won free pool for the rest of the quarter in the sport zone. That was awesome. Dinner was a lot of fun. I bought some Ben and Jerry’s after dinner. This was the first time I ever bough ice cream there surprisingly. After dinner, Eric showed my his toy tank. That thing is awesome. A bunch of baker boys were in the quad playing Frisbee and what not so I joined them. Then I brought out my cool green kickball and we played a modified version of the game. Then mikel decides to kick it onto the Baker roof. Erik gets his ball out and it gets kicked on the same roof. We couldn't just leave them up there so we made plans to get them down later that night. First we had to go to small group. Sherwin talked and it was actually very good. I enjoyed it and learned a bit.
Then came operation foggy window. This was our codename for the retrieval of the balls on the roof. It was also called operation two balls later on but that was not my doing. The operation consisted of matt marsh, pete, and sench as lookouts and matt sones and me as the special forces. We had this whole elaborate plan using flashlight signals and everything. I’m
not allowed to discuss the details of the mission unless you have
proper clearance, but I might give you clearance if you ask. Needless to say the operation was a huge success and my green kickball is back at my side. The night was concluded with a bit of settlers. I won after a bit of a dry streak. How could today get any better.
And the most ironic thing about operation two balls was ...

April 3: Hmmmmm. Church was good as always. I came back and did homework. Then I had some crazy good protestant vs Catholic smash. That was very fun. Went to fight club. That’s never disappointing. Played a great game a settlers afterward with marsh, soni, bill and Sherwin. Sherwin won and took possession of the much sought after chalice.
Yeah, today was good.

| Freshman Year: Part 2
March 13: Well despite the fact that I felt completely sleep deprived the whole day, it was great. Church was enjoyable. I owned in carpet ball. Afterwards we went to some sub place, and we brought frostys in with us. Jill made some comment that it was tacky and then the manager came in right after us. He told us his partner owned Wendy's and he was glad we could help out both causes. Then he shook my hand. We made fun of Jill so hard there, but she just toned us out for half of it anyway. She does like Dr. Pepper so she gets some credit at least. And since she said I have to write something nice about her, I’ll quote her in saying that she is a beautiful ham. I half agree with that statement. Guess which half that is … the beautiful one of course *snicker* (sorry that’s as nice as you're going to get)
My afternoon consisted of some old school smash and newb settlers. Nostalgia was running high. Fight club was amazing. I missed it so much the last few weeks. Following Fight club was some more meat settler’s. A little better, but not much. However, we did have Dan schuman playing to make things ridiculous. Now I must sleep. I love 8am’s.

March 12: Well today was great. And no that’s not sarcastic. I woke up and went to work till 2:30, which was nice because I was scheduled to work till 3:30. After
successfully killing an hour and a half, marsh, sones, shijo, sench and
I went with Jill and her parents to some pancake place in the middle of
nowhere. The pancakes were amazing. I had 8 and 2 pieces of ham and a sausage patty. Sench had the same only 13 pancakes instead of 8. That boy can eat. The ride back with soni and shijo was fun. Afterwards there was some euchre of course. The night concluded like it usually does, with some interesting conversation. And tonight was very interesting. I don’t think it qualifies as mushy time however. Oh well. Sleep time.
Key phrases for the night: The rooster’s hatchling is hungry, how does a weasel go pop, and of course don’t forget the “magic touch.” I’ll leave it at that.
| Freshman Year: Part 1March 10: Well today was actually quite enjoyable I must say. Class 8-11. Lunch, Work, Nap 11-2. Class 2-6. Physics was nuts. My professor is out of his mind. It was to be expected I suppose after he told us this class would be the most funkaliscious class we ever took.
Anyway,
did a little work, had a little dinner, and played a little smash till
Baker Bible Study, which was a little short today. We’re going to be going in a new direction with it for the last quarter, so we shall see how that turns out.
The night was wrapped up with what’s always the highlight, euchre with the gang, although Soni was replaced by Aaron. Still it was a lot of fun. Aaron and I took 3 out of 4, and he didn’t go call happy. That makes me happy. No mushy time afterwards as Jill and Aaron were about to pass out. Marsh and I gave Jill a ride home in her car and we walked back to Baker, mostly for the fun of it. I enjoy walking.
Oh and apparently Jill’s expecting. Don’t ask.
