  • God is so good!

Well to say the least the life of the Crawford family has changed in the last month!  Josh is Finally out of the navy!!!  WoooHooo  The navy has been good to our family but I am so glad it is over.  Josh is now employed with the Naval Research Laboratories in Washington D.C..  It is a government job sa all of his time in the navy will roll over for retirement, vacation days and a few other things!  We worry a bit about the drive, but it will all work out in the end.  He would like to wind up working in Winchester, so maybe a transfer will take place.

It is also time for us to say good bye to our little blue house...

We are moving to the Flory farm!  It is now owned by Ralph and April Carnivallie.  They bought a new home in Broadway and are renting the farm house out to us.  So we put renters in our blue house and are going to give farm living a try!  So my life right now is boxes, cleaning, moving, cleaning.  Last week dad and Josh moved all of the big stuff so the only thing left in the house is the essentials which will be gone by this weeks end.  Keyona is really excited, she is sure that living on a farm will make her a cowgirl!  She also has a good friend that will only be a mile away from her when we move.  I do think farm living will settle well with my barefoot girl!

Joshua is now 5 months old, and he is so much fun.  He likes to laugh and coo, and have people pay attention to him.  Rhianna was happy to just lay down anywhere, anytime.  I think content best describes her as a baby.

  • Family trip to Hays Kansas

Back in May we loaded up the kids and took off to Kansas.  It was finally time for Josh to graduate from college with his bachelors degree!!!  First we stopped to see his Grandma Lee in Casper Wyoming.

Then once we got to KS we spent an afternoon at a miniature horse farm where the girls and Josh too a ride in a  buggy pulled by one of the horses.

Then we spent saturday morning watching Josh graduate.  It was a very long ceremony but well worth it.  Josh has worked hard to get his degree for the last 3 years, and now his work is done!

On the way home we stopped to see the St.Louis arch, and then it was back to the house.  It was a nice trip but as always it is nice to get back home.
